As I proceeded to walk off of campus me and Ari held a laugh at the joke she'd just cracked; all until we noticed people whispering and pointing at one specific spot that wasn't in our view yet.

Before I knew it a reign of loud hood music just started thumping throughout the area "please tell me it's not them" I uttered to myself before shaking my head and proceeding to walk.

Toosii blasted his song Rip 2.0 so I knew it was definitely him.

As we got closer I could see Nau'jour, Dre, and Maree standing outside of Nau'jour's car as an immediate smile formed on my face.

I don't know why seeing my protectors just boosted my pride as much as it did but it was definitely boosted.

They just looked so untouchable in a way, and they were all here for me.

"That must be for you" Ari said as I playfully pushed her shoulder and sped up my pace towards them.

"I'll text you later" I said as I continued my walk, announcing my departure.

She replied with "ok boo byeee" and stayed behind as I finally made my way to the boys.

"Wassup li sus" Maree said as he pulled me into a side hug "Heyy" I responded, grinning from ear to ear.

I knew people were looking but that was the whole point, the attention I got from being with them actually made me excited.

Now why it excited me so much; I have no clue but it did.

We all got into the car after greeting each other as I leaned over and pecked Nau'jour on the cheek "wassup witchu" he asked with his eyebrow lifted

"Nothing, I just missed you"

He nodded at that response as he pulled off from my school.

"Y'all wanna go right now?" Maree asked as I turned my attention towards him "go where?"

"We was gone take you and Ken ass to Dave and Buster's" Dre said as a smile crept onto my face.

"That sounds perfect, and ari can come to keep my bestfriend company... a win win"I perked up as Naujour smiled and shook his head at me .

He secretly found me cute I just knew he did.. but of course I'm going to wait until he says it himself.

"Noooo!" I shouted as I started throwing more balls into the basketball hoop so that I could catch up with his score.

We all came to Dave and Buster's as we said we'd do earlier which made me really happy because I loved when our group was all together.

Maree managed to get ken out the house and I was able to get Ari to fit this into her semi tight schedule; the gang was here.

Dre and Ari hit it off almost instantly because of his jokes and overall amazing personality; I knew she'd love him.

"Let's go to the walking dead thing" I pointed at the machinery as I dragged Naujour's hand along with me.

"You look so pretty" he said as he got out of my grip and grabbed me by the back of my pants, pulling me back to him.

A smile formed in the crease of my face as I looked back to see his face.

"What?.... You're so handsome papa", the words slipped my mouth as I was taken aback myself at the sudden forwardness.
