I finish putting on my makeup as I slip on my little white underdress.
"damn" Nau'jour spoke from behind while licking his lips.
"boy shut up and pass me my robe"
"Say please"
"I'm not in the mood today Nau'jour"
"Ion kno why yo lil ass trippin so much today but u need ta fix it before I do" he lifted his eyebrow at me.
Prepping to graduate college has been stressful but this was one of the most anticipated days yet. With everything that has went on my last year I was happy to close this chapter of my life.
As I put on my robe along with my many tassels I held a smile of pride. Not only did I make it through high school but college as well.
Proud of myself was an understatement.
"tacky ass shit"
I mugged him as he held his hands up in defense.
"This is too hot to be wearing all day, these heels hurt my feet, my curls are falling ... oh my god" I blew a frustrated breath

A smile formed on my face as I heard the nickname he'd given me. Everyone uses it I know but for him to finally stop calling me by my name it felt special to me.
"Come on let's go baby", I kept the smile plastered on my face as he gave me a weird look in return.
"Why you all smiley all of a sudden" he questioned as we made our way out of the door "why don't you stop complaining like you told me".
"I wasn't ma. It's just good to see one on yo face"
"I guess I'll do that more often" I remarked as he nodded in agreement.

"UNIQUE TAYLOR!!" They call my name as I started my walk across the stage
"DATS MY FUCKIN BABY!!" I hear nau'jour yell loud as hell causing me to laugh.
He was hoodtastic. The word I've been using lately; and I loved it.
After hearing him I could distinctively hear my friends as well cheering me on.
"Our girl the biggest in this hoe!" Kyn yelled as Ari followed along "the biggest out this hoe too!"
I chuckled to myself.
"My bestfriend man!" I heard Dre sound like he was crying.
I walk while shaking peoples hands proudly before coming upon one of the staff that used to irk my last nerve.
