"Uhmm.......," I was dumbstruck.

Nico's question completely threw me off guard.

What does he mean?

A tiny ray of hope that this beautiful demigod might like me back was dangerously turning my insides into jelly.

"I don't know why I said that. I'm sorry. You have many better things to do. I don't get what came over me. You can go. I will take care of myself. I -"I interrupted Nico from his ranting."Don't worry, Nico. Anyway, I wasn't gonna leave you alone here. And I would love to sleep with you" I said with a wink.

I loved the way how Nico reacted to my wink. The corner of his lips turned upwards and slammed his head onto the pillow with embarrassment.

I laughed and went to the kitchen to clean up what's leftover after dinner.

I helped Nico to get ready for bed. Then I got ready myself and laid on bed opposite to Nico. I was kinda disappointed because I wasn't able to lie next to him.

Even though I have a major crush on Nico, I don't know any single thing about him. He always kept to himself and all the rumours going around the camp could never be trusted.

The only people who know Nico more than everyone else is the Argonauts. Percy might know a lot about Nico but the poor guy never has any time to even sit simply for 5 minutes without having to save the whole world. And Annabeth is always with him too. Then Leo and he are friends but since he went missing that's not possible either. Will doesn't know much about Piper or Jason. And Frank and Hazel, Nico's half-sister, left for Camp Jupiter.

I don't even know if Nico is even gay.

Reyna and Nico looked cosy during her stay here. And also earlier when she saw Will and Nico together in bed, he did notice Reyna's scowl.

I hope they are not together.

"What are you thinking about?", Nico asked me.

"Nothing I was just thinking about some stuff, "I answered quickly.

"Oh. Ok. You were looking sad and hurt. That's why I asked you. "

I smiled at him lightly.

"So what's up with you and Reyna?" I asked him trying to sound casual.

"We are just really good friends. She took care of me when I was barely conscious carrying the statue half across the globe. We kinda bonded over our troubles." Nico said with a beautiful pensive smile on his face.

Thinking about Reyna makes him smile. I wish he smiled at me like that.

"Are you two together?", I know I shouldn't prying his personal life but I knew I would kill myself worrying obsessively about it.

"No, we are not you know together. I mean I love her but not in a romantic way but like a big sister or small sister because you know I'm kinda over 80 in a biological way," he answered.

"Oh. That's good" I said stupidly excited.

"What do you mean?" he asked quizzingly.

"You know, since you both are not together, maybe someone else might have a chance at snagging you away, "I replied.

Hearing that, Nico let out a low chuckle.

How can he go from being damn cute one second to exhilaratingly hot the next?
