As soon as I was feeling better, Percy and Annabeth dragged me to see Mrs O'Leary to the underworld. Mrs O'Leary was left to Percy by her previous owner, Mr Quintus or also known as the Infamous Daedalus. Since Percy was busy around the camp after the war and Mrs O'Leary is twice his mom's apartment, He had left her in the underworld with Cerberus. And they wanted their "trusted" demigod (their words, not mine), to take them to the underworld.

Chiron told he would let me go only if there was someone who would take care of me immediately since there was still a chance that I could dissolve into nothingness if I overstrained myself too much. Percy and Annabeth had to check out their new school after visiting Mrs O'Leary. 

Great! 

Just what I want to remind me that I don't have any friends.

I was walking around the camp to find a companion when a mop of throbbing golden locks was coming to my direction. It was Will.

"Hey, Neeks!" he said cheerfully.

I rolled my eyes but also reddened at the same time.

"What you doing?" he asked me.

"Nothing".

"Nico....... Say! You look kinda worried."

"I'm trying to find someone to come with me to the underworld," I explained.

"I can come with you," he offered, "I have a free day today and have nothing better to do than rewatch Grey's Anatomy," he said with a chuckle.

"That's great then. Thank you" I replied.

"Ya, of course. What else are friends for?" He said with a slight shrug.

I stood there for a moment, dumbfounded, By the fact that one of the most popular boys in the camp considers me as a friend. 

Wait until he finds you are gay.

He is going to run the other way as fast as he can.

Why wouldn't he?

I'm such a freak.

He saw my deep thinking face filled with self repulsion because he asked me "What's wrong? Don't you want me to come with you ?" with a hurt voice. As if he was really looking forward to coming with me.

Even though he might come to hate me later, there is nothing wrong to enjoy with him before the inevitable happens.

 Right?

"No! Its nothing. Well, I have to go and inform Chiron that you are coming with me. So bye!" I rambled as fast as I could and ran towards the big house.

Behind me, I heard Will shout "Bye Neeks! See you later! "

Even though it was just a simple goodbye I felt my insides bursting with some unknown euphoria.
