Unforgettable

Chapter 14

Stella's POV

Silence.

Cold.

I felt cold.

I felt exposed from all edges.

I felt .... Lonely?

I can't feel the floor beneath me.

My eyes felt really heavy.

I pulled my hand to my face to rub my eyes only to discover that they were chained.

I pulled on my arm only to feel pain, tiredness and weakness venture through my veins.

I whimpered quietly.

I mustered up all available energy in my stiff hanging body to open my eyes and take a look around.

I lift my head up as the sound of my neck cracking filled ... Wherever I was in.

It was dark. Really dark. I tried to use my night vision but it wasn't working since I just felt so weak.

Out of the blue I heard a door open, as light began filling the dark room.

I squinted as the light seemed to be way to bright.

I couldn't make out whoever entered the room since my pupils must have already vanished. Allowing me to only see nothing but blurriness.

I heard someone chuckle in the background, which would cause me to growl back. Only then did all the memories of what happened the other night rushed in.

"So...are you fully awake yet?" The person asked.

I couldn't focus at all, to the fact that I couldn't tell if it was a male or a female speaking.

My head dropped low as the small amount of energy I once had vanished.

I heard the chuckle again, "Good. Now the scientists would like to study, run their tests, and dissect you."

I whimpered.

I'll take care of this.

I heard nightmare say, before she took over me and started flapping my wings hard lifting my head and roaring, tugging at the metal chains causing cracks to form.

"Now, now. Don't be such a handful. Or else you won't be freed." The person spoke.

Nightmare didn't care tugging harder as the sound of snapping chains filled the room.

I swang to the side and stopped when I felt a rough tug on my neck.

Damnit. They had me chained in every possible direction.

The bullets were still inside me but if I'm careful enough I'm sure that I won't cause something I wouldn't want happening.

It was just then that I felt an electric wave rush through me causing Nightmare to whimper and back down the surface, leaving me in charge.

"See this is what happens when you decide  to play naughty."
