I've noticed that my training and teaching has picked up pace, and like to think it's because I'm improving, but by the obvious stress levels of Alec, Auna and Peter, I know that's not the case. In the past couple weeks; I've learned about my heritage, why my parents never taught me anything and never used magic; because they can't. Both my parents didn't receive the powers from their families. Both were outcasts. Apparently it's very rare for two non magical mages to have a gifted child. Peter proved to be quite an amazing teacher, somehow packing all this information into my head.

"It's time." Peter said as he walked into the room. I was confused, but Auna and Alec understood exactly what was happening. They all jumped up and scurried around. They gathered herbs and books, some clothes, food...
"Stop!" I exclaimed, "What's happening?"
"It's time to go, kid." Peter said.
"What do you mean? Go where?" I asked, feeling frantic.
"We don't know yet." Alec offered.
At my confused expression, Peter continued; "You're about to learn how to scry." He simply said.
"Scry? For what?" I asked.
"For Rae." Auna said.
"Matters have escalated. A Seer I know predicted that Rae was about to reveal her location to the FireWalkers by mistake, and we had to get there to try and defend her. Or at least warn them. It seems we had less time than we thought. It will be happening tomorrow." Peter informed.
"Protect her from the men that took her?" I asked, a burning in my cheeks as I thought of the scum.
"Actually, no. we would be fighting with them. How much do you three know about the situation?" Peter asked. None of us answered, we couldn't get past the part about fighting with the people who took Rae.
"I am sorry, but I will not be fighting anyone except the people who took Rae!" Auna burst.
"Listen; you kids don't seem to see what is at stake. Rae is not yours for the keeping. Accepting the fact or not; the people who took Rae have risked their lives to-"
"Hell yeah they risked their lives! We're going to rip their limbs off!" Alec shouted, his fangs flashing in his mouth.
"No, no, no! You really have no grasp as to what you are into, do you?" Peter asked.
Before Alec or Auna could have another outburst, I calmly asked, "Why did they really take her?"
"To get her back from the FireWalkers." He simply stated.
"WELL THEY HAD NO RIGHT TO-" Auna started.
"Auna, would you please shut up." I snapped. "Things are more complicated than what you originally described."
"Thank you, Kota." Peter nodded.
"Did I hear you say, 'Take her back?'" I asked.
"Yes. You see, I haven't explained all of this to you yet, this story has been in the making for a while. You see, the Fire walkers were once a highly respected ancient dragon, and of the most unique at that- they are a double headed dragon. Or- they were. They were the dragons to create humans. But both them and the humans were mocked for not having magical abilities. So they moved all human kind to this world, and hid the gates home, or, more like hid the knowledge of how to use them."
"So, what do they want with Rae?"Alec asked. He immediately looked at me and stuttered, but I just waved it off.
"We don't know why, but they have been kidnapping magical creatures children. We assumed they were torturing or experimenting on them, but Rae has been put in the care of two Wraits; dangerous creatures from our home plane who have the ability of creating toxic clouds for different situations. She was raised as a human by their hand, though, and she has passed her maturity point, so I honestly don't know what their intention with these children are... But this will give hope to the families of other victims."
"My seer friend foretold Rae coming across her powers by mistake, sending a surge of power that the FireWalkers will be able to follow. We need to get to her before that happens. To keep them far away from the Dolofonos."
"I don't know how to react to the men when I see them, though..." Auna mumbled.
"Understandable. Try and see things from their point of view; they found her, and could easily assume you worked with the Dolofonos. You are two Vampires that are always near her. Not to mention, to them, this is their sister. Also; these are barely adults. The eldest would be no more than age 24." Peter explained. We all nodded and were silent. I looked up at Peter;

"Teach me to scry."
