Once I had reached my small pile of clothes in quickly got changed and sprinted home, it was now around 7:30am. I only had half an hour to get ready for my first day at my new school, as I'm only 17 I still legally have to go, however much this pains me. I hopped in the shower; I find cold showers are always better in the morning because they help to wake me up better than anything else. About 10mins later I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a white towel around my body, using another towel to dry my hair a little. I then pulled on some black skinny jeans, a white cropped tank top, my black leather jacket and some boots. I only wear mascara and a little concealer for my makeup as I am very lucky to have smooth skin, who knows if this is something to do with my genetics, which of course is very different to other girls my age. I grabbed my school bag which I had packed the night before and put my headphones on, blasting music into my ears.

I dawdled along, lost in my music. Music is the one thing I could not live without, it helps me to feel an escape, an escape I need often. I only just made it to the bus stop, nearly missing the only bus that went to the school due to my lack of willingness to even head to school in the first place, I would much rather continue to be lost in my music, all day long. I made my way to the back of the bus sitting at the window seat, I wearily rested my head against the window and watched everything that went past during the short journey. The same shops, the same trees and everyone else heading to the places where their day's would start, just like me. We soon arrived at the high school. I waited until everyone else had got off, my own little way of delaying the inevitable before I took a deep breath and stapled off myself.
