I wake up (probably early in the morning) in a hospital bed, groggy and sore. Asleep with his head on the bed next to me is none other than Jack Frost, snoring slightly and still in his clothes. Scattered about, asleep, are the other three: Hiccup against the leg of the bed, Merida on the floor, and Rapunzel up next to the wall. In a bed across from me is Astrid, her bandaged arm hanging from the edge of the bed. Then everything comes back to me; the fight, Cribrune, getting hexed, and my Patronus.
Wow, I think, Rapunzel finally mastered that spell. I suppose that everything is settled and that it will be back to normal in the morning. Well, not completely normal. After all, now I have a Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, gamekeeper, and a Slytherin to keep me company the rest of the year. I'm not sure if Jack is more than a friend yet, but I'm fine with leaving it at that, at least for now. And with that, I snuggle down just a little closer to him, and slowly fall asleep.
