C H A P T E R 9

"Welcome back Y/n."

(Y/N'S P.O.V)

As I slowly open my eyes, I'm sure that I still hate the sun. I sit up, I can feel a large amount of weight fill my body. I stand up, and a yawn left my mount, I brushed my teeth, took a shower, got dressed and headed off to school, by feet.

I arrived at school early, I can see the janitor putting something in the wall.

"Bonjour." I greeted.

"Stop Thomas, you know I hate French." he joked. I giggled.

"What is that?" I asked.

"The faculty decided to hold a general Halloween party, which gives me a lot of work to do." He said while backing away letting me see the poster.

"'Halloween in Forks high. Play games, wear costumes, dance, sing, and have fun.', that sounds boring." I read and gave my opinion to the janitor.

"We both think the same. Why would they even do such things?" he said.

"For 'fun'. I bet that I won't finish the night not seeing couples snogging each other in every corner." I joked, the janitor laughed and then signed.

"You know Thomas, you're a good student." he remarked.

"Why is that?" I asked.

"You know, I'm just a janitor, I don't expect people to see me special."

"You're awesome, think about it, if you're not here, Forks high would not be this clean." I said while pointing out the window. "And I won't be here too, I'm germophobic. Don't underestimate yourself, you're greater than you think you are. Now come on, let's get to our next stop, we won't want to miss this 'Beautiful' day." I joked the last part. We parted ways when we reach the second building, I really like things this way, empty corridors, nice people to talk to, and most importantly, normal.

I reach my biology classroom, I switched my schedule yesterday, I changed my subjects to get away from the Cullens, I just have one subject that I have with one of them, Literature.

I waited for my biology teacher to come, he was always early. After a few minutes of reading my book, my professor finally arrived. I greeted him which he gave back then we walked inside the classroom.

-Time Skip to Literature class-

I was thinking of leaving Forks, to be away from the Cullens so the Volturi will leave me alone but the words that Jasper told me last night keeps me thinking if it would make any difference.

"Miss Thomas." I heard.

"Yes professor?" I replied cutting my gaze off.

"Recite the Act 5, Scene 3 of Romeo and Juliet for us." he said. Thank Zeus that I read that play when I was in France.

"Oh here will I set up my everlasting rest and shake the yoke of inauspicious stars from this world-wearried flesh. Eyes, look your last. Arms, take your last embrace! And lips, oh you, the doors of breath, seal with a righteous kiss a dateless bargain to engrossing death!" I recited.
