Villian Deku AU (Title Pending)

Chapter Three: Bye Bye Bakugo

"Oh! Midoriya! It's been so long since you've been over! Sorry, I'm afraid Katsuki isn't home right now!"

"That's fine, can you just give this to him when he gets home?" Izuku put on a bright smile, handing a green envelope with lots of fun stickers on it to Mitski Bakugou.

"Oh? What's it for?" Mitski asked, taking the envelope, "Oh, nevermind, I'll make sure it gets to him, sweety!"

"Thanks a bunch!"

Izuku skipped back to his house in his typical childish fashion. It was time to prepare for the entrance exams.

"Katsuki! Midoriya wrote you a letter!"

"What the hell...?" Bakugou took the cheery looking envelope from his mother and inspected it. There weren't any words written on the outside, just various stickers of cute animals and such. Stuffing it in his bag, he headed up to his room.

"Just one more day till the entrance exams... Dammit, why am I actually nervous? I already know I'll get in..." He laid down on his bed, sighing and pulling out his phone. He really needed to talk to Deku... He never thought the nerd would actually jump...

"Dammit!" He threw his phone to the ground, sitting up and rubbing at his eyes.

What had he done?

Izuku sat down on his bed, terrified with what he had just done. He surely couldn't follow through... Could he?

"I should just go back and.... No. I decided I would do this. I... I need to do this. I need to get ready."

Hands trembling, he packed his bag, shoving all thoughts of whether or not he would pass the exam out of his mind. That didn't matter. Not anymore.

Besides, it was pretty obvious he wouldn't.

Bakugou couldn't get to sleep that night. He knew he needed a good sleep, but thoughts just kept racing through his head.

Giving up, he sat up and turned on his light. If he couldn't sleep, he might as well get some extra training in.

"Izuku! Wake up! You're going to be late!"

Izuku sat up in bed and rubbed his eyes. Surprisingly, he'd been able to sleep like a log despite the stress.

He quickly put on some jeans and a T-shirt, grabbed his bag, and headed downstairs.

Bakugou made sure to be ten minutes early to the exam, and he clearly wasn't the only one. The seats in the auditorium were already about a third of the way full. He sat down and took a deep breath.

He was going to UA.
