This side story is brought to you by cliffhanger (/¯◡ ‿ ◡)/¯ ~ ┻━┻

Today might be the unluckiest day of my life...
Tsukishima Kei thought to himself as he walk to the train station, to go to the probably nearest sports wear store that isn't closed or under renovations. Tsukishima is naturally skeptical but today was an exception... The strawberry on his shortcake fell to the floor, his kneepads broke, the homework he was working on got stained by his coffee and worse his favorite dinosaur figurine head snapped. What's more unfortunate events could happen to him? A sudden rain, a car accident or maybe they got a sudden practice.

Tsukishima only sulked and he accepted his fate and soon he reached his destination. When he was about to enter the store, he got a phone call.. it is from Kuroo.

"Hello?" Tsukishima asked.. then the call ended.

Then his eyes suddenly got covered by a strong pair of large hands.. his phone still in his ears and he heard that familiar lovely voice.

"Guess who?" He heard from behind him.

"Kuroo-san?!" Tsukishima removed those hands and he quickly turned around. A pair of black and cat like eyes stare at him.. a man with a natural bed hair, wearing a grey hoodie and a pair of black jeans along with a black rubber shoes.

"Yow, missed me? I surprised you didn't I?" Kuroo replied with a smile.

"What are you doing here at Miyagi?" Tsukishima asked.

"Isn't it obvious, I went to see you of course." Kuroo replied while scratching his cheeks, it was obvious that he got suddenly embarrassed.

"Oh, is that so... Thank you... Don't you have a practice? Nationals is just around the corner." Tsukishima curiously asked.

"Its our rest day, well the coach decided for it to be about two days." Kuroo grinned.

"Lucky to be you, hope we have some rest days too those guys are too energetic to stop practicing." Tsukishima whined.

"I was wondering, I wish you to give me a quick tour.. I guess, this is my first time in Miyagi, Is it okay?" Kuroo politely asked.

"I don't wonder too much but I guess I can take you around." Tsukishima invited.

They walked around to go to some shrines, parks and various local places.. it was getting pretty late so Tsukishima invited Kuroo to stay with him at his house. Before reaching the said house, they bought some shortcake as dinner.

"Pardon me..? Oh, one's home?" Kuroo noticed how quite and dark the place is.

"Yah, mom is staying with her friends and my older brother is training with his teammates, they too have a competition coming soon." Tsukishima replied before flicking the house's light switches.

"You can place your bags at my bedroom, the one at the end of the hallway at the upper floor." Tsukishima informed before going to the kitchen to grab some plates and utensils for their cake.

At Tsukishima's Room...

Kuroo noticed how clean Tsukishima's room is, as well as the dinosaur figurines and some moon designs at the walls. A volleyball lying on the floor, Karasuno jersey on a coat hanger, a shelves filled with books, a desk with some paper works, and a portrait of a young Kei shooting a peace sign with his brother beside him.

"Its not that messy, right?" Tsukishima asked.

"Of course not, your room is tidier than mine." Kuroo reassured.

Tsukishima placed the two plates with a strawberry shortcake, his favorite cake, he sat down and Kuroo followed... They ate while having a casual conversation of how their lives are.

"Kuroo- san, why did you come all the way to Miyagi, we could have just called or texted each other... You should have just rested or spend it with your other friends.. I bet they're more fun to be with." Tsukishima sulked.

"Isn't it obvious I wanted to see you, I missed you... I get to see those guys almost every day so taking a trip like this is also a breather." Kuroo replied, emphasizing the words 'miss' and 'wanted to see'...

"Why?" Tsukishima asked, despite of being a smartass, Tsukishima Kei is rather dense, he doesn't even realize to himself that he actually likes the older boy, that he misses him, that he is actually very thankful that Kuroo went all the way from Tokyo just to see him... He doesn't admit to himself nor show it to others, how genuinely happy he is rather, he just reasons with his feelings and he shows a blank expression.

"Hey, Kei what do you think about me?" Kuroo asked.

"In what way?" Tsukishima replied with a question, he is actually slightly startled for the older boy that looks serious and has even used his first name...

"As a person.. of course.. please, be honest with me." Kuroo pleaded.

"A very admirable player and captain... Also, as a friend." Tsukishima blunted.

"I see... Kei, don't get weirded out or anything but I don't see you as a friend." Kuroo before biting his lower lip, averting his eyes from Tsukishima.

"What do you mean by that Kuroo- san." Tsukishima questioned... Heart slightly hurt by those previous words.

"No, I don't mean it like that exactly... I... I like you... Not as friend but like... Sexually!" Kuroo nervously replied as he turn to Tsukishima and clasp the younger boy's hands and he gazed at him.

After a few seconds, Tsukishima realized the meaning of those words and his face grew bright red just like a ripe strawberry. To his surprise, Kuroo went closer to him making him slightly back away and his back hit his bookshelf.

"What do you feel about me, Kei?" Kuroo whispered seductively to Tsukishima's sensitive ears, this made the younger boy face be redder.

"I- I don't know, but it feels weird my heart it feels like its going to stop." Tsukishima stuttered, averting his flushed face from the older boy, he grew more bashful.

"Kei, you look so cute~" Kuroo remarked.

"Eh?" Tsukishima shyly replied.

"Can I have all of you?" Kuroo asked.

"Do whatever you want." Tsukishima commented, slightly turned on by their position.

Kuroo nodded then suddenly picked Tsukishima in a bridal style and gently placing the younger boy at the soft bed.

"I won't hold back any longer, Kei." Kuroo suddenly whispered.
