Ana's POV
Justin tried to grab my hand but I pulled it away. "What part of I don't want you to touch me don't you understand?" "Sorry." He said as he rubbed the back of his neck. I wanted to scream and punch something or someone, more Brittney than Justin. With Justin, I just wanted to hurt him as bad as he hurt me. I wanted him to feel the pain in my heart. I followed him back to his office. I wasn't surprised to still see her standing there. She looked up and smiled when she saw Justin but it left when her eyes placed on me.
"Oh, you're still here," she said with a fakest voice I ever heard. She started walking toward me but I stepped back. "Don't you dare come near me. It's taking every fiber in my body to not bash your head in a fucking window." I looked at Justin, "Tell her now," I said through gritted teeth. "Tell me what?" She asked as she looked back at her soon to be former boss.
Justin rubbed the back of his neck and let out a breath. "Brittney, I'm sorry but I have let you go."
"You're firing me? Becuase of her?!" She yelled. "Yes because of me. You need to get it through your thick skull that he doesn't want you anymore. You had your chance now it's time to move the fuck on," I cried. She looked back at Justin, "Are you serious?" "Yes, you need to have your office cleaned out by the end of the day. I will let HR know of your departure. If you need help finding another job I will be your reference." "Screw you. I don't want anything from you," she started walking. Before walking out the door she turned to look at us.
"I never thought I'd see the day that Justin Bieber would become someone's bitch." She slammed the door behind her and Justin just stared at me. "I did what you wanted. You forgive me now?" Without saying a word and tried to walk out the door. "No no no, Ana." Justin blocked the door. "Justin move." "No! I did what you wanted, I fired her, why don't you forgive me?"
I let out a breathy laugh, "Call me twisted but I didn't want you to have anything to fall back on." With shaky hands, I slid the piece of jewelry I came to love in the past few weeks. I grabbed his hand and placed it in his palm while he shook his head and pleaded with me. "I can't be with someone I don't trust." I kissed his cheek and left. I could hear him calling my name but I just ignored it as I walked to the elevator.
I could feel every emotion at once but nothing at all at the same time. Part of me wanted to run back to him and forgive but I can't. He needs to know that he can't continue his playboy ways. I walked mindlessly to my car. The car he owns. The car he says I look so sexy in while driving. I slammed my hands against the steering wheel as I broke down. My phone started to ring and I picked it up without looking at the caller ID.
"Hello," I said trying to cover up the fact I was crying.
"Ana are you okay? What's wrong?" Maria asked.
"Nothing. I need you to do me a favor. Tonight I need you to stay with Macy okay?"
"Sure but why?"
"Just do it, Maria, please." I hung up the phone and threw it in the passenger seat. I need to focus before I get in a car accident on the way home. Can I even call it home anymore? I took a deep breath and drove back to the house. I walked in and went straight upstairs. "Ana?" I looked up and saw Leigh. "Are you okay?" No. "I'm fine," I replied.
She sat next to me, "No you're not. Wanna know how I know you're not fine?" She pointed at the empty space on my finger. "You're not wearing your ring. What happened?"
"I caught him kissing his assistant who happens to be his ex-girlfriend," I could feel the hot tears running down my face. "I know it was just a kiss but how can I trust him again? I asked him to fire her and he did but I don't know Leigh, I feel dumb and hurt. God, I just want him to feel as bad as I do right now," I explained.
