~Yuuki's POV~

*School Bell Rings*

"Late again, Mrs. Tora?"

I slowly lifted my head up from my locker following the black dress pants, up to the tucked in button up shirt with a neatly tied tie, and up to a pair of disapproving brown eyes behind a pair of dorky thin glasses.

Ugh. Mr. Hatori.

"I'm pretty sure if you're asking me that question, Mr. Hatori, that I am indeed late for my morning classes." I replied sarcastically, as I shoved my morning class books in my bag and threw it over my shoulder.

I don't need this today.

"Ah, I see. Feeling rude today?" He said with no amusement in his voice. "I believe that gives you strike three and I'll be seeing you after class for detention, Mrs. Tora." He replied, blankly.

"Is that a question, Mr. Hatori, because if it is I'll have to say no thank you." I slowly stood up, closed my locker and padded him on the shoulder. "Thanks for the offer though." I replied sweetly in his ear.

"Mrs. Tora , I think — are those new bruises?" He asked, as he reached for my arms resulting in me quickly stepping back from him.

"That is none of your concern!" I shouted, as I pulled my sweater sleeves down.

I realized too late that I had shouted a bit too loud and drew in the looks of a few students that had been passing by. Some had even poked their heads out of the classrooms.

"Excuse me." I said, coldly, as I pushed past him and walked towards the stairs.

Instead of stopping on the second floor for my morning classes I continued to walk all the way up to the roof knowing that no one would bother me up there..or so I thought.

As I pushed open the heavy metal door to the roof I was met by another pair of brown eyes that shot up quickly at the sound of my entrance.

"Yikes, you scared me," He said with his hand placed over his chest. "What are you doing up here?"

"I could ask the same of you," I replied, as I walked towards the opposite end of the wall and plopped down. I looked at his hands curiously as I noticed he was wearing gloves in the spring time.

"Well, I didn't think anyone would bother me up here, ya know? Since no one is allowed up here." He watched me curiously and continued, "Isn't that why you're up here?"

"Guilt as charged." I mumbled.

I looked over the side of the building to the forest region up ahead. Spring had finally come and the tress were as green as ever. The light breeze grazed over them causing slight movement and the smell of pine to slowly move through the air.

"What's your name?" I finally heard him ask after a short while.

"What's yours?" I heard a laughter slowly erupt from his mouth.

"You're not suppose to answer a question with a question." He stated.

"It's usually how I reply when I don't wanna answer a question." I said, flatly with a blank face. The smile never left his face. It only grew larger.

"Alright, alright," He jumped up to his feet and held his hand out to me as he started to walk my way. "My name is Haru. Haru Amari."

I quickly got to my feet and stepped back from him when he got within arms range of my comfort zone. "Don't come near me." I snapped, unintentionally.

I watched him slowly lower his hand, reaching with his other to scratch the back of his head. There was silence for a few minutes with neither of us moving.
