~Yuuki's POV~

"Who the hell are you?" My father said angrily as he slowly descended the stairs.

What am I gonna do? He's gonna kill Haru!

I looked over to Haru, panicked. He only stood there staring at my father with his fist balled up. I could see what seemed like a fire growing behind his eyes.

Wait? What happened to Haru's eyes?

The longer I stared at his eyes the more I noticed the brown seemed to be fading and slowly turned into one blue and one green eye. Just like mine.

Suddenly, my father bursted out laughing.

"Oh I see now." My eyes snapped back to my father as I watched him take the last few steps of the stairs and walk towards the wall with his melee weapons.

"Father, DONT-" I started, as my father grabbed a metal bat.

"You're a special, aren't you boy?" He stated, as he ignored me.

My eyes widen and my jaw drop as I heard my father speak those words.

"You're just like me, aren't you?"

"You're a special."

I slowly turned my head towards Haru. I looked him up and down as I processed the words I heard between Haru and my father.

There's no way..I can't believe it! A special? Like me?

I could feel excitement creep up on me. I've never met another special before. So many questions ran through my head. I wanted to know how much he knew about specials. About how much he could tell me about myself.

"Now you may be a special but I highly suggest you leave here and forget about everything you saw and heard. Including Yuuki." He stated as a threat while swinging the bat around in a circle in front of him.

"I'm sorry, but I can't do that." Haru said through gritting teeth.

"Excuse me?" My father said, as he pointed the bat at Haru, "Boy, you better not test me! Do you even know what I'm capable-"

"Frankly I don't give a damn." Haru interrupted, "I made a promise to my mother." He continued, as he shot daggers with his eyes. "And I intend to keep it."

"You little brat!" My father yelled as he swung the bat at Haru.

"FATHER! NO!" I screamed, running towards him.

A sudden force pushed me back and I hit the ground hard. As I scrambled back up I saw that the bat had made contact with Haru's left forearm and noticed his right arm was in the air still.

"Haru, why did you push-?"

"You," Haru spat with venom ignoring me, "You want to know who I am?"

Suddenly, this strong energy radiated off of Haru and my father flinched backwards a few steps.

What is with this atmosphere?

Haru started walking towards my father throwing everything in his way over. I could feel the anger hanging heavy in the air. I could feel how strong Haru's emotions were right now. Honestly, I was a little afraid myself.

As everything Haru threw broke into piece my father took more and more steps backwards. I felt happiness at the fact that for once my father was afraid. For once, he could feel what I have felt for years because of him.

Eventually my fathers back hit the wall and he couldn't walk backwards any farther. As Haru approached my father pulled the bat up to his chest.

"Don't you dare take another step. You'll regret it. I promise." He stated, attempting to act tough even though I could hear his voice trembling.

Haru stopped in front of him only a couple inches away. I could see his shoulders shaking as a chuckle escaped his lips.

"You wanted to know who I am, didn't you? So I'll tell you." Haru leaned into my fathers ear and I could barely hear him when he said, "I have now become your worse nightmare."

Before my father had time to react Haru ripped a glove off his hand and grabbed my fathers neck. I watched as both Haru's and my fathers eyes rolled into the back of their heads and nothing came out but silence.

~Haru's POV~

"I have now become your worse nightmare."

I ripped a glove off and grabbed his neck. I wanted to choke him until he passed out but I knew that wasn't the right thing to do. Instead I'll do a temporary fix.

Soon enough a small force pushed be back and I stumbled backward a few steps. Yuuki's father collapsed and hit the ground with a thud.

"What..what did you do, Haru?" I heard Yuuki ask, her voice shaking.

I grabbed my head as pain shot through causing my head to pound.

I really do hate doing that.

"Don't worry, Yuuki." I panted, catching my breath, "I didn't hurt him. I'd never-"

"Then what did you do?" She asked desperately.

"I only temporarily erased memories of you from his mind." I grabbed the bat and threw it across the room. "And I mean temporarily. His mind will be foggy for a bit but his memories will come back."

"You can do that? How long will it last?" Yuuki asked curiously as she checked his pulse as reassurance.

"Well," I slowly put my glove back on readjusting my sleeve. Then I reached up to push the window open and repositioned the chair underneath it, "I'm assuming you're around the age of 17. So with that many memories I'd say a week maybe less before he gains all the memories back."

Yuuki laughed, "I can't believe this. I really can't believe this." I looked at her confused as she ran up to me and hugged me as tight as she could, "I knew other specials existed. I knew they did. I just never thought I'd get the chance to meet another person like me."

I signed, "I can't believe I didn't notice you were a special sooner."

She suddenly pulled back with curious eyes, "How did you figure out I was a special?"

"Actually," suddenly a groan moved through the empty air and we both slightly jumped, "maybe we should get you out of here first before he wakes up, yeah?"

She nodded. I helped her up the chair and helped push her through the window. On my way up I took one last look at the man Yuuki called her father.

"How pathetic. I hope you're smart and you never come looking for her because from now on I will do everything in my power to protect her. You can count on it."

-Thank to all that have been reading my story and I hope I'm doing you all proud. I posted pictures of what Yuuki and Haru would kind of look like. Thank you again! Until next time-
