When Jungkook came down the stairs on Monday morning to get himself breakfast, the first face he saw was the Park son's face. Annoyed, he turned to his sister who sat at the other side of the table.
"What is he doing here?" he asked her and sat down on one of the bar stools to wait for Miss Kim, their housekeeper, to bring him his food. The older man's face held its everlasting smug smile while he chewed on his sandwich.
"Because Jimin normally lives in Busan, he will be living with us until our marriage in four weeks," Maei explained the situation, underlining the words with a decent gesture of her filigree hand towards her fiancé.
"Four weeks?!" Jungkook coughed, trying to get the orange juice out of his windpipe, "Why the rush?"
"I guess it is political," his sister replied calmly, shrugging her shoulders. How could she always be that unaffected? Jungkook knew he would have to marry, too, but he always pushed back the thought of what it would be like to live with his fiancée. Thinking of his sister moving in with that strange guy made him feel uncomfortable.
Jungkook left the table. His appetite had vanished. He went up the stairs back to his room and turned on his computer. Economy and especially analyzing stocks had always calmed him down. It seemed laughable that a twenty-one-year-old would like things like that, but his father's secretary had been teaching him about shares and business management since his tenth birthday.
After checking on his own shares, he wanted to take a look at the C-Group's stock quote. He was about to visit the website of the largest Korean economy newspaper when he heard his door opening.
"What the...," he whispered and turned around on his office chair. "Have you ever heard of knocking?" he growled when he saw Park Jimin's face in the door.
The elder ignored his comment and slipped in, closing the door behind him. Then he let his eyes wander around the room: a large bookshelf covered the door's wall, filled with international classical and modern literature, books about economy and social geography, and travel guides for various countries as well as a collection of dictionaries for different topics, and a big vitrine split the shelf in half, holding various kinds of expensive liquor bottles. The next wall held a king-size bed with light-blue bed linen, two nightstands next to it and one shelf above. Across from the book-wall was a giant window, taking the whole width of the wall, with the long desk Jungkook sat at and a commode, and the last wall held the closet, every of the five doors having a mirror which caused the room to appear even bigger. The center of the room was a small coffee table surrounded by three gray leather armchairs. The modern shaped oak-wood, the furniture was made of, and the gray armchairs gave the room a neat but slightly cold atmosphere. Just like Jungkook liked it.
"Someone is taking business serious...," the intruder mumbled, barely audible. When his gaze finally landed on Jungkook, he grinned and stepped forward.
Jungkook was about to get up and say something rude, but his words -again- got stuck in his throat when his opponent crossed the space between them with some quick steps and pushed one knee between his legs, effectively trapping him in his seat. Jimin's left hand had remained in the pocket of his dress pants but the right one had grabbed Jungkook's chin and now forced him to look up.
It would be a lie, if Jungkook said he was not excited. By a guy... What was wrong with him lately? He knew he had a thing for guys since an incident with a co-partner's son, but he should not be that easy.
The knee brushed closer to his crotch when Jimin leaned down to whisper in his ear.
"My room is nice, but I like yours better. Maybe I'll come by one night, so we can play a little."
Jungkook had stopped breathing. What the fuck was happening here? Was his future brother-in-law seriously seducing him?
Before he could do anything, the elder was gone, leaving him alone with his messed-up mind.
