"Stop that!"
"No, come on, Clara, it's the Festive of The Moons on Flusewai. You'll enjoy it, now get out of bed." The Doctor whined, Clara glaring at his TARDIS parked in it's semi-regular space in her room as she squinted to try to keep out the light as he turned on every light in her room at once with the Sonic.
"I hate you." she groaned, pulling herself out of bed. It was four in the morning.
The Doctor's mouth moved before he could stop it, faster than his mind could catch up to, "You love me."
A silence fell over the room as they both seemed to realize what he said. He avoided looking at her. He tried to find an excuse, something to say, but he came up empty handed. He opted for an apology, finally looking up at Clara as he opened his mouth but it immediately snapped shut upon seeing the light flickering in her eyes, the smile on her lips, and the giggle overtaking her as she stood. She didn't bother to take anything to change into, knowing if her PJs didn't suit the event she'd have something in the TARDIS somewhere that she'd left to change into.
"Yeah. Now turn off my lights and lets go to your dumb Moon thing." she said, poking his arm as she past him into the TARDIS. The Doctor took a moment to register the "yeah" and closed his eyes.
She was only agreeing with you. Keep up.
