40.Void

** You stopped breathing and I stopped living. We both died in different ways. **

Aisha's POV
(16thJune -18th June)
After sometime , it started raining there and the match was closed for a while so I made excuse from all and tried to call him but his number was unreachable at that moment, then I texted him again to asked his location but again I didn't receive a response.

That time I became restless for a while but then I reminded his saying that don't ever worry if my call and message became undelivered , understand that I am out for some work and there is no network converge and you would be the first person whom I would call as soon as I get free.

Then I left for my home along with my sister in law and kids but in all the way I was thinking about him and keep texting him even without receiving a response from his side.

It was the time when my parents were not at home as they went to my uncle's place (Uttarakhand)for 15 days .

And when I reached home I changed my clothes and went to terrace and again started calling him again and again .

But this time I tried both of his numbers and I became shocked when I heard that one of his number was switched off and the other one was still unreachable.

That time I didn't have so much contacts because I had formatted my phone but the first name that came into my mind was Amir and I had his number.

So I called Amir twice or thrice but he didn't pick my call, I texted his younger sister to ask about him but from there I had not got any reply.

But after 10-15minutes I got a call from Amir and after seeing his name in my phone's scree I got some relief.

I picked up his call and started shouting at him without any break ," What is the problem with you both ?? One is unreachable from morning and the another one was not receiving my phone !! Where is your friend ?? And don't tell me that you don't know !! "(Because they both were keep talking on daily basis and they almost know everything about each other)

For a time being I felt a silence from other side so I asked him again ," Tell me Amir , where is Naimish??"

He replied," I really don't know dear!!"

I laughed and said ," I would not be angry you may tell me !!"

He replied after taking a moment , " His mobile phone fell somewhere !!"

I asked ," How do you know ?"

He replied," He was talking to me and his phone dropped at the same time !!"

I again asked," You mean phone has been completely broken down?? And that's why he didn't call me ?? Amir stop making me fool !! He remembers my contact number and this is how he inform me immediately!!"

When I was busy in my interrogation I heard a voice of sobbing from the other side and on hearing this my heart started to sink and this time I asked Amir in a very loud voice," what happened Amir?? Please tell me the !! Is Naimish fine ??"

His answer made me mad I started crying and shouting with all my heart out.

He told me that ," Naimish went to the dam shore in the day time and suddenly his foot slipped there and he...and he fell into the water and all are searching for him from last 8-9 hours and he is still missing!!"

And he couldn't collect the courage to tell me so he didn't tell me .

On hearing all this ,that day I really felt that how a normal person can be void for a while when he/she fears something bad would happen to the person who is closest to him/her.
