Upon realizing the scarcity of their bonding time during Remus' birthday party, the trio got together at Florence's flat with their calendars to mark days when they were all free to hang out. One by one, they looked through each day and what everyone had going, and whether it was a potential day for them to see each other. They did so in the living room, looking down at their planners seriously as they each held a colored pen. A fairly large pile of other colored pens sat atop the coffee table, and every once in awhile one person would reach down to change their pen color, scribble a few things, then change the color again. Fred and George were sitting at the dining table, watching the scene unfold rather curiously.
"Look at them... with their planners and everything, Georgie. I've never seen anything like it." Fred said, before taking a sip from his cup of tea, his twin brother nodding in agreement. "It's very.... organized, and productive."
"It's very Ravenclaw."
"Yeah, that's about right." George concluded, "Say, you think you and I could pull off that whole planner thing as well? I mean, it could really help us keep track of the things we have to do around the shop."
"I doubt it," Fred replied honestly, "Maybe for a day or two. I don't think we'll last longer than that."
"You think Verity could?"
"Nah."
"Boys, please," Nicolai said, "I know you two are doing your best to whisper but its not cutting it. We can still hear you." she said.
"Sorry mum." George shot back sarcastically, making both Florence and Alexander smile. Xander capped the red pen he was using and set it down, before grabbing a green one, "April first... Isn't that your birthdays" he asked the twins, who nodded rather earnestly, "Yes it is, my friend." said Fred, "And we're planning something rather special for that, so hold on to your hats."
"Nice," Nicolai said, grabbing a pink pen and scribbling something down, "Knowing you two, it will be a blast."
Florence perked up, looking rather concerned, "Literally, or figuratively?"
The twins shrugged, "Both."
"Now now, boys. Since we are all adults now, I am expecting some sort of liquor action." Nicolai chuckled, "No more fruit flavored punches. Those are kid drinks."
"Not too much liquor action, though." Florence warned, before looking to the twins, "And how come you two are planning your own birthday party? I wanted to plan it for you."
"Its okay, love. George and I have been planning since last year, so maybe you can do it next year. And don't worry, its nothing chaotic. Its gonna be small, but very fun. Hopefully." Fred smiled.
"Okay. Marking April 1st as a reserved day." Xander said, before the three of them simultaneously circled the date on their planners. "So... our next hangout day after this one, will be in three days. We haven't really settled what we're going to do for that."
"I can bring Hadley for that." Florence said, "She doesn't work that day too."
"Perfect. So what are we gonna do?"
The question set off a very thoroughly analyzed discussion about where they were going to eat and where they were going to go in order to maximize their time together. Fred and George, again, were baffled by the flow of their discourse, never in their life hearing such organization. They had always knew that Ravenclaws were nitpicky, but had never really seen it in action.
With their planners ready and marked, the three bade each other farewell, excited for the next time they were going to see each other.
Three days rolled by, and Florence found herself sitting at one of the tables in Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour with Nicolai and Hadley.
