My watch said it's 04.27 AM, what a lie that was. It was so easy to trick the time, that's one of the most interestin things for me. Maybe, I should explain it.
Right now was it 04.27 Am in London, UK; my homecity, my love. But I was now in the middle of Asia on a plane. The timezone here was 7 hours infront of the european timezone, which would be than 11.27 AM. Where I am heading to?
Thailand, but to be exactly I'm on my way to the capital city Bagkok. And now you probably questions what a 20 year old girl - yes, I refuse to call myself woman, that just sounds so old! - like me wants in Bangkok, right? Well, how should I explain it, the best and easiest way.

Ok, so I'm in love with photography. It started when I was 6 years old and I was allowed to help my mum with one of her projects. You need to know, that my mum is an artist. She isn't exactly famous, but it is enough to keep her and me happy. I was never a spoiled kid. First, we didn't had enough money and second, my dad left us when I was 2 1/2 years old, so that meant I had to help my mum with mostly everything. But back to what I actually wanted to tell.
I was supposed to help my mum by one of her projects. This time it was a gallery of different people, different faces etc. I can't remember the name anymore, I was to little, but I do remember that I went with her together on the London streets and helped her taking photos of random persons, who were passing us. I also remember that we were hours outside, my mum wanted to take the perfect picture, which she meant would take their own time. First I didn't understand what she was talking about, I mean we already had good pictures, but with every hour we spent outside, I more and more understand what she meant. The perfect picture should have the time trapped in itself. It should still fascinate the Observer, even after 20 years.

After I understand that, I was totally mesmerized from the camera. I spent hours and hours with her together, tried to understand it, tried to put everything in an order. The camera became my bestfriend and I was hers. you can imagine, that I then didn't had many friends during school.
It probably didn't really helped, that I looked and behaved like the typical nerd. My blue eyes were always rounded by big nerdy glasses, my dark brown wavy hair covered most of my face and my shyness didn't let me anywhere near strangers. My shortness wasn't good eather, with my 5'2" many people thought I was a little kid instead of a teenager.
But anyway, after I graduated from school, a friend of my mum had a job for me. Well he was obviously more than just a friend of my mum, but since I doesn't really dislike him, is it okay for me or to say it in better words I don't care.
My mum is 39 years old, she should know what's good and what's bad for her is.

Tom, that's my mum's "friends" name, was the leader of the british magazine "Britain" and offered me a job as a photographer in his company. My answer was of course yes, even if I could imagine that my mum somehow pushed him into it.
But who care's. I mean I got my dream job and this is also the reason why I right now sit in this plane on my way to Thailand.
My newest project was to take pictures of the landscape, which is one of the most interesting photos. Through this job I visited already over 12 different countries (like USA, Russia, Brazil, Spain, France, Turkey, China, India, Argentinia, Norway, Italy and Cuba) and I loved it.

I am still so thankful towards Tom, that I work twice as much as everyone else. I often had huge jetlacks because I flew from one country to the next, sometimes in just 5 days. That's why I was so excited for this trip, because I was supposed to stay 3 weeks, which 2 out of it would be my vacations. I was even so excited, that my right foot would shake the whole time nervously. It already brought me some nasty looks frome my seatneighbor.

"Dear passangers, in a few minutes, we are about to land in Bangkok, Thailand. Please return to your seats, put your seatbelts on and wait until we are safely landed. I hope you hade a good flight and we wish you a nice trip in Thailand. Goodbye!"

Oh we we're already landing? I thought to myself. I must have been sooming langer out as I thought. But well Bangkok here I come. And I can tell you: If I would have known before what would happen there, I probably wouldn't have left the plane.
