After I had finally left the airport, I took a taxi to drive me to my apartment. Yes, you heard correctly, I said apartment. It's just, I don't really like hotels. There are so many people and there's so much noise and... I just don't like it.
Anyway, my apartment is more at the side of Bangkok, close to the water. It took like an hour to drive there, so it isn't really bad, at least I think.
When I payed the taxi driver and he left, I inspected for the first time exactly my home for the next 3 weeks.

The apartment was a small 2 story house, covered up by a large tree. Exotic flowers and bushes where in the front of a little porch. The little balcony was mostly covered from the huge tree, so that you were protected for unwanted visitors. The whole apartment was in a creamy pink colored and had everywhere little unique details, to let you feel welcome and wanted in this apartment. (See the picture.)

I couldn't believe my eyes. It was so pretty! Just alone the thought, that I would spent 3 week in this beautiful apartment, let me squeal and of course -but don't tell anybody, did I do a little dance act- .
I almost then ran into the apartment, but seconds later I froze in my spot, again paralyzed by the sight in front of me.

I was standing inside a large living room. Everything was out of a dark wood. To my left was a little door, which must lead to a little bathroom, I assumed. At the end of the left side was the kitchen combined with the living room. And to my right was an old looking spiral staircase, which must led to the bed and other bathroom. But most of my attention was directed to the view out of the almost window wall. Outside was a small, but tropical looking garden area, together with a little sitting area, which had the perfect view on the beach and the ocean. It was breathtaking! (See also this picture: https://touristly.files.wordpress.com/2015/e02/3d2n-in-bangkok-jim-thompson-house.jpg )

After my little shock was over, I went upstairs, to my bedroom to pack all my stuff away. Also the bedroom was beautiful. A large but low bed was standing in the middle of the room with the view out of the (again!) window wall. I could imagine, waking up early in the morning and watching the sunrise out from the bed.
How romantic!, I thought.
The one wall to the right of the bed, was a complete dresser with doors, which had a huge mirror in front.
All in all, it was just perfect!

I never had much expectations, I even let this time Tom find the apartment for me, and I really need to say... I was speechless. I really have to thank him for this. So don't get me now wrong. I would have been totally fine, with an one room apartment, but Tom ensisted this time, to buy for my apartment. Probably because my mum set him this in his mind, she always knew I discreetly like a little luxus, but like I said before: I wouldn't complain, because I don't care!
If Tom really likes my mum that much, that he would get me a 5 stars apartment, I wouldn't dare to say a negative word to him.

I let myself fall on the large comfortable bed. What should I do now?, I thought to myself.
Tomorrow I would have to go to Bangkok city to meet with one of the employees from "Britain"s partner companies.
So should I make tonight a chilly night, together with a good book and a glad wine? Or should I go eat somewhere outside and look a little bit around here and just enjoy this beautiful view? I could even go to the beach.., I was discussing with myself. But I have to say, as good as option number 1 sounded, I decided to go for option 2, since it would be good to get to know my surroundings a little better.

So I stand up from my bed, took a long shower in the rain shower and choose to wear a grey light sweater together with a jean hot pants and my black converse. I packed a little bag with all my important belongings, like lip balm, my iPhone, tissues and a little bit of money. My camera hang around my neck and I was ready to go.

My first stop was at a small bookshop, where I bought an information-book about Bangkok. I would look through it tonight, to have tomorrow a better plan. Then I went a long the beach, took some pictures of interesting people and suddenly I was in the middle of a big market.

It was mostly a food market and everywhere where people, especially local people. They were discussing with each other about the individual prices, they were touching the dead fishes or the clean and mature fruits.
It was an interesting situation for me, because of all the noise and the lack of hygiene I wasn't quiet sure if I liked it.

But you can't imagine how interesting all these different fruits or vegetables you have never seen before, and even the dead fishes still with their heads and eyes were. I was somehow disgusted and at the same time fascinated. I took many pictures, it is one of those moments where you can take a picture of a everyday situation.

I was, at least already for 30 minutes, walking around the different stands until I changed my bag from one shoulder to the other. Suddenly, when I was holding the bag in both hands, someone snitched it out of it. A little kid, maybe 9 years old, was running away from me, in his hands my bag. First I was shocked, but that just only lasted maybe 2 seconds, before I was chasing after that little guy. Even if there wasn't my camera in it and nothing other, I just couldn't replace, I just doesn't wanted to let go of this bag. It's absurd, but later I would call it faith, that I didn't wanted to let go of this bag.

Because when this little kid, I was already chasing for 5 minutes and I was out of breath, was close to the end of the market, he did one of the biggest mistakes ever: He turned around and ran straight into someone.

Out of breath I finally got this little stealer, so without thinking I screamed: "Hey, stop don't move! Give me my bag back!"
Now I was just a few feet away and I slowed down. The little guy looked frightened into my face and tried again to run away from me. But before I could even process what was happening, someone gripped the little kid by his shirt and hold him in place.
To calm myself my marathon-beating heart down, I put my hands on my knees and breathed 3 times slowly in and out. I was just by my second breath, when finally the mysterious someone started talking.

"Kid, did you stole this bag from this girl here?" It was the deepest male voice I've ever heard before. I became goosebumps. My eyes slowly traveled up from the ground to a black pair of combat boots, up to the camouflage pants and further up to an black shirt, which showed extremely the muscles from this men. His arms were sun kissed and his muscles were flexing without him realizing, I was sure. My gaze went after a few milliseconds further up unto his face.
His dark blonde hair was cut short, he had distinctive facial features, an almost perfect nose ( it probably was one time broken because of the lightly bulge on top of it) , a sharp chin and ice cold looking blue, almost grey, eyes.
And he was tall, at least 6'3" foot high.

All together: This guy was just beyond beautiful. He was perfect.
As I realized that, I felt the heat creeping into my cheeks. For a brief moment I totally forgot why I was so out of breath and why I was even here.
