Chapter 5: Speculations

Its the next morning and you wake up to doyoung still in bed with you. you get out of bed and put the cover you were under on top of doyoung. you go to your restroom to brush your teeth and wash your face and then head downstairs quietly to cook breakfast for all the boys. when you walk into the kitchen yuta and haechan were already sitting at the island. "good morning. what would you like for breakfast?" you ask them. "anything is fine really" yuta replies and haechan nods in agreement. you decided to make a variety of different dishes so they can chose what they want when they wake up. you wash your hands to start cooking and get out all the ingredients you need. "can someone put on some music while i cook?" they look at you confused. "since when do you need music to cook y/n?" haechan asks. "i dont need it but im in an extremely good mood today so i just feel like hearing happy music" you smile. "uhh okay" yuta says and plays a playlist full of upbeat happy music and you dance while you cook. you made an entire buffet of breakfast foods for the boys and go to wake up everyone who isnt awake yet. you go downstairs to set the table while the boys get ready for the day and they all come downstairs one by one each one surprised by how much food you made. doyoung was the last to come downstairs and he stops and stares at the table much like how the others did. "what made you make all this food today? is it a special day?" he asks. "nope i just feel extra happy today" you wink with your right eye so no one could see it but doyoung. he responds with a quick smile. "go sit and eat" you tell him and he listens. while the boys eat breakfast you go upstairs to take a shower to get ready for the day and study some korean like you do every morning for about an hour to hour and a half since you're not from korea the language is still kinda of hard when it comes to complexities, so you continue to study. while you study you hear a knock on your door. "come in" you say not even looking up from your notebook. Someone takes your notebook and places a plate of food in place of it. you look up and ita doyoung. "hey hardworkers should be eating too" he says as he places a glass of pink lemonade on the table next to your bed. you laugh and smile at him. "make sure you eat. i notice you tend to skip breakfast when you study and thats no good." he walks out with your notebook "wait my notebook!" you yell. he walks back and waves it "you'll get it back when you finish eating breakfast." he turns around and leaves again. after you fimish eating you take your plate down stairs and do all the dishes and clean the kitchen. you head upstairs to doyoungs room to get your notebook back but he isnt there. you decided to just head back to you room and the notebook was already sitting on your bed. you turn to the page you were last on to continue working where you left off. but you see a sticky note that you know you didnt put there. "today we're hanging out. i need some y/n time. i am your bestfriend after all. how could you say no to me?" you laugh at the note knowing that he was right. its impossible to say no to him and you two havent spent much time together. and since last night, you want to be around him more for some reason. you decide to study for just a while longer and your phone gets a notification. its from beakhyun... seeing his name pop up on the screen made you feel bad. you already cheated on him and you've been in a relationship with him for less than 48 hours. you contemplate what to do about the situation you're in. should you break it off now? or is it too early? you decide not to respond to his message and ask doyoung what he thinks about the situation when you hang out later. for right now your mind is solely occupied on studying. you put your headphones in and continue. after about an hour someone comes in the room and is standing in the doorway. you hardly notice since your so focused and you have your headphones in so they walk in and take out one of your earbuds. you look up and see yuta smiling at you. "Hello!"
