"So do you like the village?" Saki asks Metanoia, pushing open the door of the house the group lives in.

"Pretty." The android responded in a small tone, the two girls stiffling joyful giggles, the male staring into oblivion, mildly disassociating from reality.

John's thoughts were in a daze, for most of the tour. While the cyborg and Lobelia were arguing and explaining things, he was formulating sentences in his head before blurting them out. A very typical thing one with social anxiety does.

All the boy simply wanted to do was ask Metanoia if she knew anything about Saki, as per the cyborg's previous say. "If you guys want to know that bad, then ask Metanoia. Not sure if she knows who I am though."

"Oooye, John. Going inside or planning to sleep on the dirt tonight?" The girl dressed in dark colors snickers, prolonging the "o".

He gazes over at Metanoia for a few seconds, before stepping inside the house and slipping his shoes off. "Sleeping outside would be rather cold."

"You trying to be funny?"

"Chill out, cranky lady. Go finish that drawing you were supposed to show me." Saki grimaces, heading over to the sofa and flopping onto it.

"I'll get to it, don't rush me."

Evening till dark inside the house was awfully quiet. It left much room for thoughts to fly free.

Chilly, dimly lit, and flower scented, the overall vibe was rather comfy. Metanoia did not sleep, but the environment was very inviting. Perhaps she'd just close her eyes and let herself wander.

It didn't feel like long until it was daytime again.

The android stood staring out into the distance by the tinted windows. The little light day brought entered the house, and the dim lights were now replaced by natural ones.

"You didn't sleep?" A masculine voice comes up from behind her, quite groggy.

"I have no need for sleep." Metanoia responded, her voice barely audible.

"Oh. Right..."

There was an awkward silence between the two for a few minutes, and a slight tension the machine was not aware of.

"Uhm... May I ask you something?" John asked hesitantly, the android turned to look at him, nodding in approval.

"Do you know anything about Saki?"

Metanoia paused to think. She felt like she knew the cyborg, or has at least came across her once. But had no recollection. "Am I lacking the sufficient data? Maybe a data corruption?" It was slightly frustrating to her.

"No." She finally responded.

"ah, alright." John was visibly disappointed, heaving a sigh. Despite knowing Saki for years, he and Lobelia knew almost nothing about her past.

He thought maybe this was the chance he got to learn about the cyborg. "What kind of friend am I if I settle with not knowing who my friends really are."

She was as mysterious as the day he met her.
