(A/N: Hello! Starting at this point the chapters are written in an ordinary story type style so the journal entries will be stop for awhile.
This chapter is special since the point of view will shift not to the OC, Azazel but to Simeon! Hope you'll like it.)
Dark clouds looming over to the once usual clear skies of the Celestial Realm. An angel with beautiful brown skin and sky blue eyes stands in a golden balcony of a castle with a forlorn look on his face. That angel's name is Simeon, a close aid of Michael.
He released a sigh.
He can't help but feel melancholy about what is about to transpired.
He, again, will slay his brothers, his kin.
His Lord, his Father's judgement has been known to every beings of his domain.
None of the traitors shall live on that fateful day.
His mind wonders in much simple days, back before Lucifer's rebellion. How he regret not appreciating every single moment he had with them.
Back then, everything was so simple albeit very boring. But he was happy in those moments of peace.
He works with Lucifer. He chats with his brothers about their ideas. He was having fun in Room of Fates with the Angels in there. And he takes care of the Nameless whom he calls his precious little brothers and sisters.
He loves those moments.
Moments that he never appreciated.
Moments that he missed so much.
Now... He cannot go back.
Lucifer and his brothers are banished in the Devildom.
Lilith dies in the battle.
Celestial Realm is in chaos.
And now his once brothers and sisters are rebelling.
Those days are gone yet he can't blame anything or anyone. He can only blame himself for not noticing a sign.
"Simeon," a gentle voice coming besides him.
An Angel with emerald hair with yellow tips come to his view. The angel's lavender eyes look at him in great concern.
"Gabriel," the only thing he comes out to his mouth.
"Are you alright? You are crying," Gabriel said to him as he touch his cheeks and noticed it wet.
"Ah... my apologies. I just felt under the weather but no need for concern, I'm fine," he said lying through his teeth.
Gabriel just glare at him which is very uncharacteristic knowing he is known for his gentle demeanor.
"You can fool Michael with that but not me. Tell me your concerns. I may able to help." the higher Angel spoke to him.
Reluctant he was but he cannot help spilled his feelings to the Archangel. Like a dam, everything burst as he spilled his regrets and melancholy. The Archangel look at him with pity and an emotion he cannot put his hands on.
"I see..." the Archangel said with under his breath.
"You are truly a kind angel, Simeon," those words that escape from his mouth shocks Simeon greatly. The emotion in the eyes of the Archangel he never understand first finally realized. It is lament.
"Gabriel-sama..." those are the only thing escape to his lips.
Sadness shown in the eyes of the Archangel as he spoke his words.
"You are so kind that you felt this way. I wish I could sympathize but I know that I cannot."
Gabriel look at the horizon where the bustling streets of Celestial Realm once where.
"We, Angels, are not like any beings that Father created. We cannot feel any emotion and always govern by logic and bound by laws. That is a fact that we cannot escape but here we are" Gabriel said with a dull tone almost mechanic.
" We aren't suppose to feel human emotions and yet, we can't help but to feel so drawn to it. Like a Moth to a flame, we flew so close just to burn just like Lilith, just like Lucifer and just like our former brothers." Gabriel look to golden sky with a smile that is empty.
"Tell me Simeon. When do you start to feel more human?" he look at him, depth to his very essence. Simeon felt shivered in his spine.
When did he start feeling this way?...
Gabriel chuckled cutting Simeon to his thoughts.
"Haha. You do not be afraid, dear Simeon. Feeling human emotions would not persecute you to sins, it is what would you do after that. Be careful because the path of an angel with human emotion is a rough one." Gabriel laid his hands to his head as if consoling him like a child as if telling him he is not the only one.
After that conversation, Gabriel bid his goodbye to him slightly giving him reassurance. Simeon fell into silence as he walk towards the Room of Fates. The room filled of shelves of scrolls with written fates of every being living in the Mortal Realm. A room exclusive only with Angels with talents of Foresight. He cannot help find himself here. He feels calm and peaceful whenever he felt distraught.
He wonders how the two sibling doing in the Mortal World. It is been awhile since he last saw them. He cannot help to filled worried.
Pandora and Noah. Two angels with the ability of foresight. Sent to judge humanity and traitors for their sins. Unusual choice since they are angels for governing fates along side Metatron. Why he is having foreboding feeling that is something is about to happened? He didn't like it at all.
