"Please eat something sir, y-you haven't touched your food in three whole moons. You're weakening yourself more and more, and i-it's very concerning." The maid requested with a shaky voice, seeing the tray in her hands to be unsteady because of her shaken nerves, afraid to move a muscle closer to the enraged beast in front of her, keeping her stand on just a few feet away from the havoc filled god.

He didn't spare a glance since weeks, nor did he acknowledge her mere entry to his chambers like he always does, as he just stared outside the window with reddened eyes and a slouched figure because of not being able to take care of himself anymore, before giving out a small growl of pure disapproval in response to her meek words.

The maid flinched to see him make noises as answers rather than using words to reply, almost afraid for her life because he might actually use his powers to wrench his hand into her chest and take out that beating muscle, only to crush it between his fingers like it was nothing, because it won't be the first time he would do it to someone.

She heard a distant creak of the door opening in the background, hoping to see a friendly face after dreading hours of dawn while other servants were paranoid to the core to work in the castle after seeing their King in distress, sighing in relief to see the recognisable red eyes greet the room with an immensely worried frown, and he clasped his hands together.

"Don't worry Cara, I'll speak with him, you are to be dismissed." The warm looking man assured with a small nod, as she clicked her lips in understanding before placing the wooden tray on the nearest furniture she could find, ignoring the overflowing colour of purple surrounding these walls like paint, and scurried away with her tiny feet to disperse the room.

As the man entered the room even more with cautious footsteps, only making the sounds of his boots meeting the floor and his heavy breathing he audible at the moment, he plastered a pained expression on his porcelain face at the condition of his surroundings, disappointment reeking off of his aura.

Rocks crushed to smaller pebbles that showered the nearby objects, the delicately made shards of glass pierced the soft mattresses and were stabbed into bulks, with candle wax dripping from the ceiling due to the growing heat emitting from the culprit near the window, as he had what remained of a portrait of the most important person in his life.

Tears were glued onto the leaf that had an artwork of his Queen, as he desperately clung onto the piece of nature in his hands that was made by her for his day of birth as a present, as a weak choke escaped the powerful man's throat to display his broken heart, and he hugged the leaf closer to his chest in agony.

"Zion." The man whispered skeptically with a broken voice, being the only person to have the chivalry to go near his brother figure who was silently weeping on the cracked floor, feeling his non-beating heart shatter into pieces after seeing him sniff a flattered breath, and adjust his attire to not loose his balance.

Zion did not respond to him either, refusing to utter a word as his voice was only to be used for her. He professed his life to be existing only because of her, and with her gone, he is nothing without her.

"You have to consume something, you need to treat your body well in order to keep your powers healthy."

"Do you see this?" Zion chuckled darkly after catching one of his tears at the tip of his finger, barking awaiting words at the fawn haired man with gritted teeth, making the red eyed vampire have a shiver of his own after hearing the reeled tone of his companion, eyeing the tear carefully for observation.
