Dream Wedding

Hindi tulad ng mga usong kasal, our wedding is traditional. No surprise weddings. We planned everything together.

Today is the day, I am finally going to have my dream wedding. As I get ready, I paid attention and savor every moment.

From certain details about my make up and everything.

Of course, I designed the gown. I wanted a fairytale kind of wedding, a modern one. Every single detail. With my bridal gown, I wore a crown on top of my veil.

As I went outside of our house, the sunlight rays upon my jewelries. A pair of diamond earrings match with a silver antique diamond necklace.

I rode a white(w/ gold stripe) 1950 Chevrolet. Hindi ko maisip na finally my dream wedding, an event I've been waiting for, for my whole life.

This is it, after Yes, next comes I do.

Just like other brides, I feel, emotional. Nervous and happy. Contented and broken?

Ah. Just like a fairytale. Walking in a red carpet with yellow and pink rose petals on the ground.

With Mom and Dad beside me, smiles and tears of joy on their faces. The guests as our witness of making a promise.

Every man with their dashing suits and tuxedos, and well groomed hair. While the women with their gorgeous dresses, accessorized with shinning jewelries, and a simple yet elegant style of hair..

As I walk down the aisle all eyes are on me. Of course I am the bride after all. But I chose not to pay attention to them, only one man standing near the priest,at the end of the aisle have caught my eyes.

Our eyes met, and locked into each others. I smiled at him. A sweet smile. And not notice a tear escape from my eyes, once it starts, waterfall of tears will happen. Good thing my makeup is water proof. It's like everyone knows what the bride will feel and exactly what would happen but yet when you are in that moment you cannot explain it with words.

I feel like I've been walking for ages, every second counts.

He reached for my hand as I approached the end. Excitement is what his face shows.

I love you. 3 words 8 letters from him that made my heart melt.

I come to notice how handsome he looks with his black and white suit and his hair waxed/combed away from his hair.

The ceremony started and all I can hear is my beating heart. Dub Dub Dub Dub.

We said our I do's and as we start to say our vows to each other, i notice it is not just the bride who gets emotional during weddings, most of the guests starts to cry.

Babe, I know we've been through a lot and I've been letting you fight alone but now that we will be one, I will never leave your side. I'll love you even if you start to become a hairy man, i'll love you even if you'll come home drunk and yes i'll wait 'til you get sober. I promise, not a perfect wife but a better partner who will take care of you whenever you get ill. There will be no forever but I will love you for infinity.

Baby, I know I am stubborn sometimes, well most of the time, but I hope behind my flaws you won't take a chance or think about leaving me. Im sorry in advance if all i'll do is stress you out. I want you to remember now that I am your husband, I may tease you sometimes but always and never forget even if you get chubby, did your make up wrong, wake up with messy hair/face, wake up with stinking morning breath, I will still love you because your flaws are what made you imperfectly perfect. I will love you 'til the end of infinity.

After we said our vows, we sealed our promise with a magical kiss. Slow and passionate, not a quick kiss, a kiss that is short enough to tell someone how much you love them.

First kiss as husband and wife, as we ended the kiss, everyone stood up and started clapping.

He carried me bridal style as we walk out of the church.

"Evelaine!!!Evelaine!!" I turned around to look for that person who called me but everything started to appear blurry.

No.No.No. Not again.

"Evelaine! You're dreaming again!! Gising!!!"
No.

"Sara, napanaginip ko na naman." Sabi ko sa kanya at niyakap sya. Tuloy tuloy lang ang luha ko at hagulgol ako ng hagugol. Ang sakit. Ang sakit sakit.

"Tama na Eve, mas lalo kalang masasaktan. Matagal na. Tatlong taon na, mahigit tatlong taon na simula nung iwan ka nya."

"A-alam ko naman eh *sniff* kaya lang pinangako nya eh. Nangako sya."

"You have to move on Eve, wala na, wala na sya, hanggang panaginip na lang ang kasal nyong dalawa."

"I always dream of our wedding, my dream wedding with him."

"Mommy! Why are you crying again?"

Tadaaaa! Hehe it is pretty short I know pero I just wanted to type my ideas, criticize all you want, im sorry if the story does not please it but at least I hope you enjoyed reading it somewhat.
