☯ present day ☯

Ariel couldn't look at him,

Luke couldn't look at her.

Probably because in that moment, in that car ride they were both becoming emotional wrecks.

Ariel knew this would be the last time she could have Luke to herself. She could have Luke look at her, and make her know that everything could be okay. This would be the first time she didn't want tomorrow to come.

She use to always want tomorrow to come.

With Luke, tomorrow was her favorite thing once they seperated for the rest of the day. She wanted to be suprised to what cute thing he would say next, or how he would look at her and make her feel a totally different way each time.

She wasn't going to have a tomorrow without Luke.

Luke's eyes were on the road as he drived slowly. Even he couldn't stand it.

Ariel finally turned to look at Luke, even through his black sunglasses; his blue eyes would show.

He noticed her eyes on him, it was like a magnet. He needed to look back.

Luke sighed as he took his sunglasses off, his eyes were poofy and teary.

He turned to look at Ariel as hers were the same. She sighed as their hands intertwined.

"I'm so afraid." she whispered looking at Luke as they were close to where the tour buses were.

"I know." he replied with a sad and died out laugh. "Me too."

It became silent for the rest of the way, neither of them wanted to speak. They were scared what would come out of it. They both sat there, with their hands intertwined as Luke drove the rest of the the way to where the tour buses were.

Luke parked at the parking lot of the hotel where One Direction were located.

Hotels were where his home was going to be now, not on the couch with Ariel wrapped in his arms.

Luke got out of the car quick enough to be able to open the door for Ariel. She looked up at Luke and got up quickly to wrap her arms around him.

"I'm going to miss you so damn much." Ariel silently stated as she kept her arms around him. Her arms would be wrapped around his hips, she was so short compared to him.

Ariel knew Luke was awful at being sappy, he was always nervous about what to say and ended up messing up and making it awkward. Ariel found that adorable.

"You know I'm going to miss you too." he said silently as he began biting his lip.

As they broke the hug they heard a shout calling Luke's name. With being of course, Calum.

"Okay, lets pretend I didn't say that and I'll just restate it in five minutes." Calum stated as he walked farther away so Ariel and Luke could have a few minutes in privacy.

Luke quickly went to hug her again as Ariel whispered 'I'm really happy for you."

"And I'm happy for you." Luke said knowing that Ariel was heading for college.

Ariel sighed as she broke the hug with a fake smile.

"And you'll have a bunch of young and pretty girls wanting Mr. Luke Hemmings so you'll be fine." Ariel said, just trying to hide the fact that she wasn't going to be fine. Trying to think of things that would make him feel better about this, so he wouldn't have to be worried about the one who would be hurting the most.

Luke came closer to her as he put his finger below her chin making her face up at him.

"Don't say that, I don't want anyone else Ariel." he said biting his lip as he was trying to not mess up on his words "One day, we won't have to say goodbye to eachother anymore." he finished as he leaned down to kiss Ariel.

"I'm already having seperation anxiety." Ariel whispered as she broke the kiss and walked towards the car as she began to try and not freak out, as she was growing the butterflies she had since the day she met him.

Luke laughed lightly, he couldn't laugh much due to the pain rushing through his vains. He walked to Ariel, going to kiss her again. This time Ariel kissed back as they bother grew butterflies in their stomachs.

His arms wrapped around her curvier waist as she went on her tippy toes to continue kissing him.

It all felt so right.

Niether of them wanted to say goodbye.
