I was furious

I was blinded

I was lost

I was confused

I was aware

I was running

I was screaming

I was winning.

****

I knew what I needed to do, but that didn't make it any easier. I thought about this for weeks, but found no other solution.

The dome is kept up by a control panel in the Capital. No panel, no dome. No dome, no rules. No rules, no one to bring me back.

I would run through the city with a torch. I would burst into the capital and set the panel on fire. Easy enough. Right?

I was in my room packing the things I would need outside the dome. Clothes, meal packs, shoes, knife, rope, the usual all being crammed into my tiny pack. I took a deep breath to calm myself. It'll be ok. I'll be fine. I'll honor mother. I'll be gone in an instant.

Such lies, all of them.

I lit my tiny torch and ran out into the streets. It was the dead of night. I screamed to the people, "We fight together, we win together!" I failed to incorporate into my plan that no one hated the government.

Crap.

So I was running down the main with a stupid mini torch, basically a candle, screaming to rally people who didn't have any protests.

I got hit by an asparagus with someone yelling at me, "You idiot! Shut up I need to sleep! For God's sake, shut up!"

I shut up.

But I kept running. I ran until the unlocked doors bolted open and I thought I was home free!

I'm just now realizing how stupid I am...

Someone called with a noise complaint and so, no matter how anticlimactic this actually is, I rounded the corner, got tripped by a soldier, thrown over his shoulder and carted away to my home sweet cell.

It is here that I await my execution. unfortunately, in here they get bored. So executions are basically you in a pit with a random animal. I'm an eleven year old pacifist. I'm doomed.
