As I sat waiting in my cell, I just knew there must be a way out...

So obviously I tried what works in every single story in the history of ever! I started poking random stones and making patterns with them, until I remembered that this was the 25th century... They probably knew that one...

So, defeated and humiliated, I slumped against the wall with a deep sigh. "I'll never make it out of here" I said to myself in hopelessness. "I'm such a fool! I'm such a stupid little fool for thinking that I could ever do anything even somewhat worthwhile. I am done with life."

Drifting liltingly across the stone floor came a voice that sounded like a British smoker who had just eaten and entire jar of honey. "You're only a fool if you give up, boy..."

"Oh shut up you creep. This isn't freaking Aladdin, and trust me, no one wants to see your cave of wonders." I spat at the stranger with disgust.

The strange prisoner's voice changed into a more high pitched and smooth voice as they said, "You know, my mother always told me stories about that movie. she talked about it like it was the best silver screen masterpiece to ever reach mortal eyes."

I turned my back to its voice. They moved closer.

"It was her favorite movie. I hardly remember my mother. Gone, here, dead, alive, none of it matters to me anyways. She left me when I was just little. What's your mother like?"

I bristled at the mention of her. The memory of mother's broken body in that room. The blood. The tears still fresh on her face...

"Dead." Was all I said as I turned away yet again.

"Oh... I'm sorry about that..."

"Yeah whatever. Anyway who are you. Why are you in here. But most importantly, why are you talking to me?"

"My name is Lillian. If I had friends, I think they might call me Illy..."

"Oh stop the pity act. Anyways, my name is Equality. I invited light and--"

"Shut up." Lillian interjected. "Wow, you're a real softie for allusion aren't you?" She continued.

I stayed silent for a few moments. "I'm not a softie for anything. Now are you going to help me out of this hole or just stand there and insult me."

She sighed and stood up. "Let's show those bastards who's boss, eh shortie?" That freaky girl just walked into the darkness with the saunter of an old pro of breaking out of places.

Crap what am I doing...
