I made my way to an old wooden staircase that went down to the bottom of the valley. It was already dark and it was hard to see which step to take because some of them were missing The valley was filled with old crops, dead trees, and old machines and cars and other things laying around
I walked closer to the city I saw a lot of brick buildings everywhere, as well as some towers and a lot of people roaming the streets. The city was in the form of a square with the center having a large old belfry tower that had dead vines growing on the sides of it with a boarded-up window at the top. I walked to the city entrance and saw a big sign that read "Welcome to Trancc".
I walked through the streets. People were walking around everywhere, cars zooming down the roads, and loud club music playing from some buildings. It looked like a city for those who wish to live their lives in parties and drugs. But of course, I had no time to involved I needed to find out where this Trout Facility was. As I walked I saw the glowing black and purple light again. It was surrounding a sign on a building. The sign read "Find your next dream here!". I stood there confused for a moment until it moved and hovered over the word "find". then it moved over to a sigh and hovered over the word "the", then moved to the word "bar". I began to walk around looking for a bar. As I did I eventually saw one and as soon as I did the light glowed brightly around the door.
I went inside and looked around. It was full of tough-looking people. Some sitting at tables, some at the bar watching tv, and some playing some kinds of games at tables with weird square tiles that bounced whenever you pressed on them. "Well, what now?" I thought. Then a loud ringing started to ring in my sounding like electronic frequencies shifting until it formed a very distorted voice sounding like television static. "Find the woman in red, she is a pilot and the key to the next step". The sounds faded away and my hearing returned to normal. I looked around and saw a woman in a red leather jacket and fingerless gloves, and a flat cap covering her eyes sitting in the back. "Uh, hello, I heard that you are a pilot," I said standing next to her table. "Hm, what is it to you?" she said lifting her cap up, exposing her eyes, which had triangle pupils. "My name is Atlas and I am looking for some transportation," I said not being able to stop looking at her eyes because it was something I found so interesting. "Sit, and we'll talk about it," she said sitting back. I sat down and placed my hand on my lap, which was something mother told me to do always. "My name's Fara, pilot of the Doom ship," she said in a very proud tone. Of course, this meant nothing to me considering that I never left home before. "Do you know of the Alpha Advancement facility known as the Tra-" before I could finish she covered my mouth. "Shh, they might hear, and if you are planning on doing something to them this ain't the place to talk it over, come with me we can discuss more things someplace else," Fara said as we left the bar.
We walked down the street headed to an old brick building. I noticed that she was much taller than me. Myself being 5'9 I could imagine she was somewhere at 6'2 or 6'3. We got to the building and walked inside. "YOU! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!?" someone yelled from inside. It was a woman with long grey hair walking down a small flight of stairs. "I told you I was going out," Fara said closing the door behind us. The room was small with a staircase going up to a door. on the main floor was a small wall way to three doors. "Well, you missed the stars! you are lucky it wasn't blood stars, if it were we could've gotten our dreams made a reality!" the woman shouted in a very bold and powerful voice. "And who is this young man?" she asked looking closely at me. "This is Atlas and Atlas this is the owner of these rental housing Winda Juoh," Fara announced. "I am also a priestess of the Cyphercri Cult! we worship the bell tower out in the center of town, the creator of it named Cypercri Uili was a brilliant man, who knew so much! HE IS OUR GOD!," she shouted as she began to walk fastly up the stairs singing: "Abuse the power of the hour, and control the paradox of the lost, ding dong the way bost!" she slammed the door and we heard a record being played of piano and violin music with the same tune of the song she sang. "What was that all about?" I asked very confusedly. "Well, she can be a little crazy sometimes," Fara said leading me down the small hall to one of the doors. Inside the room were a bed, a small desk, a chair, and a mirror. Fara said down on her bed as I sat on the wooden chair, it creaked as sat down. "So why in the hell do you wanna go to the Traut?" she asked lighting a cigarette. "I am trying to find someone who I believe was taken there, she can help me get revenge on AA for what they did to me, years ago they experimented on me and tortured me and wiped most of my memory, and I want them to pay for it," I said forming my hands into fists. "Well, I can take you there, but I ain't staying around, I don't want trouble with the double-A gang," Fara said taking a hit of her cig. "You don't have to, just please take me there," I said trying not to cough from the smoke filling the room. "It'll cost you though," Fara remarked standing up looking through a box for something. "I don't have any money.." I said not evening thinking about that. "Well, then we got no deal," she said still looking through the box. "But..but..but what if I paid another way, I could maybe do something for you," I suggested. She looked at me closely and a smirk came across her face: "Give me that pistol hanging out of your pocket". I got out the Shark Blaster. "Well.. I," I began to say. "But you wanna stop AA, don't you? this is the only thing you can use to pay me with," she said. "Fine, here," I handed it to her and stood up. She put it into a satchel she got out and we walked out.
We walked down the street and saw a track full of old machine parts. As we walked pasted I could not believe what I saw. It was Wasp in a pile of junk. The truck drove down a street and parked behind a building. I walked up to the truck and tried to get Wasp out, he was in pieces. His arms and legs detached from his body and his battery must have died because he did not move or talk. "What the hell are you doing??" Fara asked in an irritated tone. "This is my android I had lost him," I said picking up his parts and putting them inside a sack I found. "Hey, you two!" a man's voice shouted. We saw a tall man in a dark blue captain's uniform followed two soldiers in dark blue uniforms with rifles and round helmets with "AA" on them. "What do you think you are doing?" the captain asked, he had an eye patch over his right eye and a mustache. "I am just getting my android out of this garbage track sir," I said showing him one of Wasp's arms. "I bet you were stealing that stuff, you scavengers are under arrest, if you move without being told to I will shoot," he said getting out a pistol. I stepped a foot closer: " But sir w-". He shot me in the shoulder, I fell down and managed to get back up. Mother was right, this had no effect on me, there was no pain. I stood up, my arm bleeding. The captain was shocked that I was not screaming in pain. He shot me again and again again. Fara stood in amazement that I was still alive. "Shoot him up!" he yelled to the soldiers. All three of them open fire on me and kept shooting. I laid on the ground being hit but not feeling any pain, it felt like I was being hit by snowballs. "Just... stop," I said in a weak voice, my blood spilling out in on the ground. "JUST STOP!!" I yelled standing up and throwing out my hands causing green electrical energy to come out of them and shock the soldiers and captain causing them to fall down. I picked up my sack and began to run along with Fara who had already begun running. We ran to the outside of the city and I saw a strange aircraft sitting there. It was like a large square metal machine with large engines on the back. We walked up a ladder and led to a hatch which we got into and entered.
She led me to a control room that had a giant screen, buttons, and a steering wheel. Fara pressed some buttons and the machine started. It flew up into the sky and we took off into the sky. "Ok ok ok, you got some explaining to do, what was all that back there, not dying, the lighting stuff," Fara said looking at the bullet holes that were all over my body. "My mother told me that I am immortal and that I cannot die, and the lighting? well, I don't know what that is," I said wiping up some blood off myself. "Well, makes sense why double-A wanted to test on you," Fara said sitting down at a seat in front of the steering wheel. "Next stop, Traut facility," she said as we flew through the clouds.
