I checked the corridors before closing my door again.
"They're gone. Time for ice-cream!" I whispered in a cheerful tone.
"What do you mean?" asked Plagg, floating to my shoulder.
"I'm sneaking out," I answered.
"Like a true Chat Noir," said Plagg with a grin.

As soon as I transformed, I went to an alleyway and then detransformed. I ran to where Alya and Nino had found Andre's ice cream.
"Hey guys!" I said, panting for breath.
"Did you run here?" asked Nino with a scoff. I nodded.
"Can't let anyone find out," I said.
"I see. Rebellious much," said Alya with a smirk.
"Where's Adrien?" I asked.
"Spending time with his mother. Sorry dudette," answered Nino with a shrug.
"No big deal," I said with a smile.

Inside, however, my heart was breaking. I knew that if Adrien was truly Chat Noir, then he'd agree to spend time with his mother. Because he needed her. He wanted to say goodbye this time.

Alya and Nino ordered their couple's ice cream before I stepped forwards.
"You're new here, aren't you?" he asked in a cheerful voice.
"Yes," I said with a smile. He gave me a tearful smile. "Are you okay?"
"Hm... oh yes. Just allergic to ice-cream," he said with a nervous chuckle.
"What?" I asked with a gasp.
"I know. I know," he said with a smile. "But I like making other people happy," he finished with a smile. "Ice-cream?" I nodded with a friendly smile.

"Green for his eyes. Vanilla for his hair and blackberry for his secret," he said before handing me the ice-cream.
"Wow," I said with a gasp. That just summed up Adrien. "Thank you."
"Any time Marinette," he said with a smile.

I sat down next to my two friends and dug in.
"Marinette." The voice made me tense up. I looked back and found Natalie.
"Natalie. What are you doing here?" I asked, feeling ashamed for my actions.
"Looking for you. What are you doing here?" she said in an emotionless tone.
"I just wanted to get ice cream with my friends. And I knew my father wouldn't let me," I explained sheepishly.
"It's time to leave," she snapped.

I handed the remaining of my ice-cream to Andre.
"I'm sorry Andre. I guess I'm not in the mood to finish it," I mumbled before walking away with Natalie.

We got in the car and I looked down at my fingers in shame.
"Please don't tell my father about this," I begged.

Sorry for such a short chapter. Conspiracor is on his way though! Stay amazing! Addison out :D
