I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and opened them wide. I looked around. The moon was high in the sky but everything was different. I had night vision. I looked down at my costume and gasped at the sight.
"What the?" I cried. I looked at Chat Noir. Our miraculouses has switched. He was MisterBug again and I was LadyNoir. I heard MisterBug let out a groan before opening his eyes.
"What happened?" he mumbled.
"Take a look," I snapped. He winced at my tone of voice but obeyed. He saw my costume and then gazed at his.
"Why am I MisterBug again?" he asked in shock, sitting up.
"I don't know. Maybe if you were quicker, I'd be at home dealing with the stuff I need to," I hissed.
"M'lady..."
"Stop calling me that!" I yelled. I glared at him, tears stinging my eyes. "I'm going home! Wherever that may be."

I could feel his gaze follow me as I left the area but I didn't care. I just had to rest up so that when Conspiracor returned, I'd be ready to go home and fight him. I arrived at the place of where my home was... but it wasn't my home.

Where my petit bakery used to stand stood a much more magnificent house. It was a mansion. In a way, it looked very similar to Adrien's mansion. Had I gone the wrong way? I peered in the window and saw my room. It confirmed that this was my house.

I jumped in the window and let the green light surround me before making me Marinette again. I looked around my room in awe. Sure, it looked like the one in my reality but it was bigger and had more furniture. There was a piano near the door and a huge TV with two controllers laying near it. Where my laptop was supposed to be was a computer with 3 screens. There weren't any photos up or posters of Adrien. And for some strange reason, my lock screen wallpaper was of my mother.

A knock came from my door and I jumped back in surprise. A woman came in to which I remembered her name to be Natalie.
"Your father says to practice your piano for 10 minutes before going to bed," she said as emotionless as ever.
"Piano? But I don't even know how to play," I said with a giggle. "Is this a prank?"
"I don't joke Marinette. You should know that. Goodnight," she said sternly before leaving my room.

I sat down at the piano, a tear threatening to fall. I knew this life. It seemed familiar. But whose is it?
"Hey kid," said Plagg softly.
"Plagg? Oh yeah... hi," I said, startled at his arrival but then I remembered.
"Have you by any chance got Camembert? That can cheer even the saddest of people," asked Plagg, hope sparking in his eyes. I giggled before finding a piece of cheese in my pocket.
"How did that get there?" I mumbled. He ate the whole thing in one bite with a goofy grin. He yawned and said,"Well I'm off to bed. G'night Marinette."

I looked down at the piano keys and began playing a song I didn't even knew. My eyes widened in surprise. I was pretty good. And I have never played before. How is this possible?

After a while, my fingers stopped playing.
"Is it done?" I muttered.
"Yep. And that was amazing," a voice said. I turned around and saw Tikki.
"Tikki!" I cried, running towards her.
"I can't stay. I'm just here to check up on you. Plagg has gone to do the same with..." when she said Chat Noir's name, pink bubbles came out of her mouth instead. She giggled. "I forget sometimes."

"How is Chat Noir? I didn't mean to snap," I said with a sigh. Tikki looked down sadly.
"He's fine. He's got his usual life. Nothing changed with him," she said with a smile. I smiled at the thought.
"Wait... where's the miraculous things?" I asked, looking frantically around my room. "I don't know where anything is in this godforsaken room!"
"Marinette, he's got it. He doesn't know yet but he will," said Tikki sadly. My eyes widened.
"He's gonna crumble under the pressure," I said with a gasp.
"Then make sure he's okay," suggested Tikki.
"I will. Thanks."

Tikki left and Plagg returned.
"Hey kid," he said with a smile.
"Why didn't you tell me you were going?" I asked.
"I didn't know if I was allowed... usually I wasn't," he mumbled.
"Plagg... did Chat Noir keep you by force?" I asked, startled.
"No. He's the opposite. He said he wanted me to be free and not be trapped like him. I just didn't know about you," he explained. I smiled in relief and then stroked his head with my index finger.
"You are free," I said with a smile.

A yawn escaped my lips and I went to bed.
