⋆ 𝑬xplanation: (lmao I hope I can explain everything briefly) sooo, to be honest I don't really know how I came up with the idea of making a magazine cover... I was thinking of an original way of including my main hobbies and stuff into my entry, and this just popped in my mind. Anyways, I'll break it down a little bit. ▪︎So, first off, I like reading magazines (literally any kind of magazine, from fashion to house decor to travel stuff) so that's why I decided to go with this idea. ▪︎The "hot topic of the day" is the undersea world, and the undersea beauty: I've always loved the sea and swimming, but these days I'm particularly into diving- I'd love to get a diving certification next year! When I'm in the sea I really feel at ease and, I don't know, I just love it so much T.T when I was a kid I wanted to be a fish lmao. It's the biggest picture in the magazine because it's probably my biggest passion at the moment! ▪︎I love to cook, especially cakes and sweet stuff! The two recipes I wrote about in the cover are the Sachertorte one and the (Italian) Pesto sauce one -I chose these two because, well, Sachertorte is my favorite cake and I like "pasta al pesto" a lot. ▪︎I'm really, really into fashion. Like a lot. And The Devil Wears Prada is one of my many favorite movies, so that's one of the reasons I put that picture there -it's from the movie obviously. The other reason is that that outfit is for winter time and winter fashion is bae! Also, that's my favorite look from the entire movie :) So yes, that's not really "trendy" right now, but it's a good representation of what I like -elegant, winter and feminine clothes. ▪︎I also like to draw a lot, and that's why I decided to include an art section. I chose to put the picture of a vintage dresses sketchbook because, once again, fashion, and also because I really like that drawing style- you don't even know how many of these drawings I've saved on pinterest XD ▪︎so, the job offers lines... well, I'd like to get a job next year (like, after school). That's not really a hobby, but it's something I'm focusing on a lot right now; plus I thought it went with the theme. ▪︎scandals!! I love them! I watch so many youtube drama channels, I'm not even kidding- I think it's pretty entertaining -and I also like gossip eheh.
I've created a "logo" for the magazine and I've put the price, but that's just to make everything more legit. I've used bright colors because that just reflects better who I usually am around friends ecc, rather than darker colors. I have so many other hobbies, I could fill an entire magazine talking about them! But I've put in the cover only the things that I like the most, or that I'm really into at the moment. Just assume the less important things are in the pages inside XD
⋆ 𝑪omment: I really like how it came out in the end and I had SO much fun creating this magazine cover! I'm pretty proud of the result, I personally thing it looks legit. And I'm lowkey proud of myself for the sea background XD it could pass as a photo, maybe. I've talked about everything in the explanation section, so I don't have much to say now... bye!
