*the picture is a selfie of me and my cousin at a local amusement park*
So on Memorial Day.... I think it was Memorial Day any ways... Me and my family had a church service project we needed to do in the morning. I put on a pair of high waisted white shorts with blue pin stripes and a light yellow shirt with a lace decal at the top. I straightened my short hair and did a pretty gold smokey eye with a teal blue eyeliner in my bottom lash line. My family and I hurried through the activity, for once we were done we were going to a local amusement park for the first time in a year to get our season passes. After suffering through running through my neighborhood, not being able to change the songs on my phone, and occasionally having some of the youth leaders and guys in my church seeing me in shorts and sweating, we were finally home. I realized I hadn't had anything really to eat, since we had left at around 6:30 in the morning and it was only 9, and I wasn't too hungry. So I got out my blender and made a protein shake (I know this does not seem important but it kind of is). Finally at like ten we were ready to leave! When we arrived at the amusement park we got in line for our passes, not that they were super long, and finally it was our turn. My picture ended up looking horrific and it was kind of a disappointment knowing I'd have to look at that and show the workers it for the rest of the season. We got in and took a couple pictures, my brothers complaining but that protein shake had me pumped! Not to mention this place is like my favorite place ever... besides Disney world. We put our stuff away and we went on all of our fave Roller Coasters! When my cousins showed up the fun I was having tripled. I was in such a great mood that day, I was on top of the world! I swear I need to post the recipe for that protein shake because it was like a healthy, delicious red bull. Now I don't know about everyone else but I am in love with spinning rides. Like the teacups at Disney land. I am in love with them! Anyways we went on like five in a row and my family decided to go on a ride that kind of rocked you up and down. like you sit there and one side goes up and the other stays down then it switches. Anyways I guess my youngest brother had gotten sick and he started puking. We took this as our cue to go have lunch. But guess what ALMOST ruined the trip!! The fact that my brother did not want to ride any rides like roller coasters or anything other than kid rides. This would have killed the trip if my grandparents hadn't shown up at that moment. Now when it comes to roller coasters and theme parks, my grandma is who you want to be with. So me and my only girl cousin went off with my grandma since we all liked the same rides. Another amazing fact was I was going to get to go there again in a couple of days for school! And the next week we were going back! We stayed until nine, which was closing time, and everything looked so pretty all lit up. It was easily one of my most memorable moments at this theme park.A/N: Sorry if that was lame, I thought it was cute and this theme park will be mentioned a lot. I promise these will get funnier and more interesting!
