Omg ok so one of my all time favorite middle school memories was this one I'm about to tell you right now. In eighth grade me and my best friend were both failing our science class,ok? And every once in a while instead of homeroom we could go to a fun activity if we had good grades or if we were failing a class we could go to that class to make stuff up. Anyways me and my bff... Let's call her Audrey..... went to our science class. We both went up to ask about our grades and she said that she just hasn't updated them yet but she graded our stuff and we both were actually supposed to have A's. Her class was filling up because she failed like everyone so she told us to go to our history teachers class for study hall. Oh and by the way, our history teacher was our favorite! So we walked into the class and when our teacher saw us together he was all "oh no" (me and Audrey were inseparable and would always talk. In fact this teacher would literally put us on opposite sides of the room, one in the front right corner and one in the back left. but that's a different story). So me and Audrey walked to the back of the class room and sat next to each other as our teacher explained that some people were testing and everyone in for study hall was supposed to be absolutely silent. yeah right. Anyways, Audrey and I pulled out our math homework, hers that she got for the day since she had it right before homeroom and mine from the day before, and we were quietly working on that. After like five minutes Audrey tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around and she had an unopened sleeve of ritz crackers that she was trying to open. Which was a very loud process. " Lex go grab me some scissors" she loudly whispered to me. I responded at the same volume with a "Where are they?". Audrey then made a very un subtle gesture towards the bucket of scissors in the back room. So I climbed out of my chair and went and grabbed a pair of scissors as well as the attention from several students. I returned to my seat and handed the scissors to Audrey, who cut open the pack and I put the scissors back again. Apparently Audrey had gotten impatient during the ten seconds it took for me to get scissors because lots of the ritzs were cracked and crumby. She stuffed her hand in the pack and began loudly chewing on them. I loudly whispered that I wanted some and she put her hand back in the pack and pulled out one while making so much crinkling noise. I laughed at her for only giving me one and we continued to talk about many things while eating our crackers. one of those conversations went like this (A is for Audrey L is for Lex)
A: So you know how when we had that sub I needed a pencil?
L: yeah
A: so I went to look in his drawer and guess what I found! I drawer full of pudding!
L: *laughs uncontrollably*Not to mention it was dead silent in the room and we were the only ones talking. We also aren't very good whisperers.... Anyways a little while later my teach looked over at us, just as Audrey had a cracker going straight up to her mouth, and motioned for her to give him one. She shook her head violently and returned to do her 'work'. Later that period one of my friends who was sitting in front of the two of us turned around to say "what is going on? Everyone can hear you!" We just laughed on and on. Not to mention the kid who we both hated was sitting just across the row from us and kept staring. When the class period was almost done Audrey decided to try and fit multiple crackers into her mouth when our teacher turned to give me and Audrey a weird look when Audrey, mouth full of 2-3 crackers, pulled out another and held it to him saying "Polly wanna cracker?" With her words all mumbled and crumbs falling out of her mouth. Our teacher just raised and eyebrow before saying "I'm ok". Everyone was staring and it was so hilarious. The bell rang right then and me and Audrey were like dying of laughter.
A/N: Sorry for the grammar mistakes. also this story does not have a picture, it's just one of my fave memories from middle school. I hope you enjoyed it!
