A/N Umm so I changed Veronica's character to Camila Mendes because when I read this, I picture Cami. So that's who you should probably picture while reading this. Also, reading the last chapter back was awkward. For it to be so awkward, I seem to keep writing smut. I'm not gonna go into full detail about sex, but you'll know it's happening. Xx
Veronica's POV
When we got back home, our moms car was there. Justin and I shared a look, confused on how we'd tell her Monty was staying. Once we walked into the house, mom was waiting at the dining room table. "Skipping again, Ronnie?" My mom asked, concerned. Shit. "Uh, sorry. It's just- it was stressful today. Bryce tried to talk to me and I had to get out of there," I said. She nodded. "Okay, just tell me next time, baby. Oh and who is this?" She asked, gesturing to Monty. "Is he your boyfriend?" she asked, smirking. "Mom! No, no," i said, nervously. Monty chuckled. "Hi, Ms. Foley. I'm Montgomery de la Cruz. I- my- my dad gets really upset when he's drunk," he said, pointing to his face. "Justin and Veronica came to get me so I can stay for the night, if that's okay," he finished. Mom ran up to him. "Oh lord. You poor thing. That's not just drunk behavior, that's abuse. You're staying here, that's alright. You said your last name is de la Cruz?" My mom asked. Monty slowly nodded. "And your mom is?" "Oh- she moved away, taking my sister with her. I don't know where they are," he said, sadly. I rubbed his shoulder to calm him down. "I'm so sorry, Montgomery. I'm a lawyer, I'll get you out of this mess. Kids, go upstairs," she said, looking for her laptop. Monty and Justin ran upstairs, while I stayed in the same spot. "M- mom," i said, softly. She quickly looked up. "Yes, baby?" She asked. "His father could've killed him," I said, sitting across from my mom. "He could've, but he didn't. And he won't have another chance to," she said, seriously. "Isn't this dangerous?" I asked. "Yes, but don't you think this is what we should be doing?" "Of course," I said. I ran up the stairs. I peeked in Justin's room, he was fast asleep on his bed. I quietly ran over to him. I took his shoes off and put a cover on him. I ran back to my room to find Monty laying on my bed. "Hey, de la Cruz," I said, smirking, while I shut the door. "Foley," he said, smirking. I'm just gonna tell you, we had some bomb sex that night. (Lmfaooo Im so sorry for that)
