Rias POV

It had been a month since the night that Ashur had gone missing, but Rias had not lost hope. She never had doubts that he was still out there, even when her peerage seemed to lose hope. Rias was first reluctant to work with the Phenex heiress but eventually obliged because she would help in the search. While Riza didn't seem to care about the existence of Rias's peerage, she did have different views towards the pure-blood Fallen Angel who decided to help.

It was a normal enough day and Rias had been excused from school once again, allowing her to search for Ashur. Akeno was back at the ORC and the rest of the club members were at their classes. Issei was acting more on edge since Ashur went missing and he sometimes didn't show up for the required club meetings.

"Ashur...where are you?" Rias muttered as she flew above the streets of Kuoh, again and again. "I refuse to think that you are dead..." As she flew back to the clubroom, she saw Akeno sitting in her chair and awaiting her arrival.

"Hello Bucchou," She greeted her master, quickly rising from the chair. "Shall I fetch the club members for you?"

"No thank you Akeno-chan." Rias replied, walking past her raven-queen and towards her room. "I need some time alone."

"As you wi-" Akeno replied before she was interrupted by the sound of someone entering the room. Rias quickly looked over and saw that it was Raynare, the fallen angel who was helping them with their search.

"I got a hit on Ashur!" She panted and drew the two girls attention. "He's in Kyoto!"

"What?" Rias asked, running over to the girl and catching her before she fell to the ground. "Why would he be in Kyoto?"

"Well...I went outside of Kuoh and managed to keep flying for a longer period of time." Raynare explained. "I eventually made it to Kyoto and found a group of fallen angels bragging about how their leader had captured a special devil!" After the girl finished her sentence, Rias pulled her into a tight hug.

"Thank you Raynare!" The redhead sputtered before standing back up to face Akeno. "Gather the club, my brother, Riza and the rest of the search party. We're heading to Kyoto."

"So you're sure that he's in Kyoto?" Sirzechs asked Raynare who quickly nodded in response. "It would make sense for them to bring him outside of Kuoh."

"Thank you for finding Ri- I mean my husband." Riza thanked the fallen angel. "I'm sorry for being so rude to you before." Raynare just smiled at the blonde and gave her an apologetic nod.

"He's not your husband you know..." Rias managed to mutter out of earshot of the blonde. "So, we should set off immedeitly, correct?"

"Hold on." Issei interrupted, "We know that these Fallen Angels were in Kyoto, but we don't know where. Do you remember where you saw them Raynare?"

"They were in front of a large building that didnt have a name. It had large stained glass windows that protrayed modern art." Raynare nodded as she responded. "It's on the outskirts and I really want to go there! Ashur saved me from Ravena, I want to return the favor." Rias's normal reaction to this would've been to get angry, but instead she felt no rage wash over her.
