18th December

- What are you thinking about ? asked Bradley.

Iris started and turned to his friend. They were both on the girl's sofa. They had returned to the French woman's apartment after her work. They had played a little guitar before settling in front of the television.

- I've felt you elsewhere since I've been with you , he added.

- It's okay, something just happened to me at work.

- What?

- I have a date tomorrow , she mumbled.

- What ?! How is he ?

- He is beautiful, she smiled.

- I want more!

- He's very tall, with brown hair and blue eyes. He's really nice and his name is Marc. But I'm very stressed.

- Why ?

- I haven't dated anyone for two years.

Someone's knocked at the door. Iris gets up and goes to open. It was Claire, they greeted each other before returning to the sofa with Bradley.

- What's up ? said the youngest.

- You see the blond there , smiled Bradley, she has a date tomorrow.

- Seriously?

- Discretion is not your thing , pouffe the French.

- Tell me the story.

- He was looking for a book in the bookstore and I helped him. Then we discussed and he gave me an appointment tomorrow, for the evening.

- Oh, it's too good!

- Yeah. Just Brad hide your guitar, you know what Connor will do if he find it.

- He'll make us deaf if he starts to sing , he laughed.

He got up and put the instrument back in it case. He went to deposit his Gibson in Iris' room before joining them on the sofa. Bradley looked around the room to find the girl's companion, but no sign of him.

- Where's Mouffle ? he asked.
- There, she said, lifting the blanket beside him.
- I thought he was dead.

Mouffle mewed to deny the young man. He stretched before coming to beg for hugs. The young French woman's cat was very beautiful. He had large, clear blue eyes. A beige dress, turning chocolate on its ends. He loved to annoy his mistress, like any cat in general.

- We have confirmation that your cat is alive, smiled Claire.
- It's not really my cat.
- Excuse me.

A silence settled. Indeed, the animal did not belong to Iris, but to her younger brother Axel who had died. She didn't like to talk about her family, because the day they died kept haunting her.

- By the way, he is so cute, smiled the young man, stroking it.
- Yeah, we'll talk about it when he will comes and wakes you up.

There was a knock on the door and Iris went to open it. She brought in the three young men who had brought food and drink.

- I think it's forbidden to work on an empty stomach , smiled James.
- You didn't have to, I could have cooked for us.
- A gentleman must serve young girls.
- Love is in air, Connor laughed.
- Shut up.

She was all red and so was James. This evening would become very interesting.
