His To Have.

"I CAN'T FEEEEL HIMM!    WHERE IS HE, STELLAAAAA?!.."       I held up my hands, I deliberately took exaggerated deep breaths, felt an instant tension headache come on (I suddenly got even more annoyed!)     Stella kept her distance from me, but she had crossed her arms (Was giving me her "Cut that crap-out!" look) "Missy! I know your angry. But, that's of no help to anyone. I'm annoyed too! I have a girlfriend running around with a guy who can't think for himself, being lead by a woman - Who thinks black magic is a quick way to toast toast!.."

I stared at Stella..."Noooo. She doesn't, does she? Oooo! Stella. That's seriously not wise. And I thought Ethan had hair-brained ideas..." I gave her a wide-eyed look. EB could be as wicked as Ethan at times!    I went quiet a minute.   Yelling, getting angry was going to solve nothing.    I still wanted to break something, or maybe just make someone squeal a second.    The only thing really stopping me, was the look of Fern's face.

The woman was silently beside herself.    Not knowing where Pixie was, was tearing her up.   Maybe she was being a bit over the top, but Fairy people feel things on another level.    I think we all do on some level.   Look at my behaviour (Stella has a front row seat!)

Ethan wasn't a child (Some would beg to differ) But, he wasn't small like Pixie.    No, he was grown, had more lives than a cat.       But, it was the lost look, the confusion when he thought one thing was happening, only to find he'd been forced in the opposite direction.

I took a deep breath, placed my hands on my cheeks/chin, closed my eyes a minute. My eyes popped open...The servants? Did any one mention them? No? Maybeee...Yes? Someone was in the gardens? Ethan was in the garden? There was someone. I know there was!..." My mind clouded. Stella was looking at me, a thoughtful look resting on her face.

"Do you think, you could mind-cast?    We had a class at school.   The tutors often talked about it, you were in special classes.   Were you allowed?   Trin?    Do...you know how, what to do?.."       Stella touched my arm, she'd wanted to learn the skill.   Our tutors were a little funny about it, like they almost didn't really want to bring it up.    I know, my parents had the skill.

Mind-casting was a skill that did many things, and was only taught to those with particular qualities themselves or to witches of the law.

You could look at events, into people's minds. We, witches all have it in us - But, a true Mind-Caster witch, did more!      They also kept themselves to themselves. They tended to be hermits by nature.     Mother talked of a cousin who had the skill, he lived on a hill.    He was often at family parties, by his mind!

"I know the skill. I can do it.   It's dangerous.    But, I'm annoyed - I'll do anything!    But, you can't be anything when using certain skills. They feed off your emotional state, turn to black magic.."       I crossed my arms..."I was told by one tutor, certain skills exist on what's called a scale.   They are neutral skills, they feed on energy.   A witch needs to be calm, quiet.  A blank page.

If you in one state or another - Some magic takes your energy and runs like the wind, once you start using - It takes on a life of it's own. It can make the user addicted.."

Stella gave me a wide-eye look, she hadn't heard that part (But, a penny dropped in her mind when it came to EB)     I saw a flash of an image, of Stella holding a crying EB.    Stella telling EB, no matter what happened to her, she would always love her. Stella would hold her tight within her arms (Kiss the top of her head)      The wild creature-girl she was, often scared herself.      EB was of black magic, she could naturally use the skills - Stella and I had been kept away from them. For safety purposes.
