Violet felt unwell that morning. She had dreamed of the Major the night before. They were on a hill covered with a coat of violets, a cool breeze swayed Violet's blond strands, and her blue eyes met the emerald color of the Major's eyes. The silence was short-lived, in just a lapse of time she found herself on a battlefield. Her hands were covered in blood, that blood was not hers. Soldiers ran from side to side, gunshots, innocent cries, screams, and groans of pain could be heard. She was walking towards the crowd when the dust cleared, she saw it. She saw a woman, she strained against a wall while hugging a little girl. The girl had blue eyes and light hair, just like Violet's. A grenade exploded, and she woke with a start. The racing heart and wheezing. Who were the woman and the girl?
Violet left her reverie when she heard Iris calling her;
<3
- Violet, I know it's in the nick of time, but ... VIOLET!
- Oh! Sorry, Iris, I was distracted. I understand you need me to answer the call instead.
- That's right, I received an urgent call very important to me for being from an old friend, but I already had a call scheduled for today. I'm going to travel and stay for a few days, so could you do this for me? I promise to reward you - Iris was gesturing frantically, looking very anxious to the point of collapse;
- Don't worry, I didn't have an appointment today - Violet looked at the paper with the client's information and addresses;
Edam. It seemed like a beautiful place, it was not a long trip. Which was perfect for her since her head seemed to be somewhere else at that moment;
- Count on me, I will let Hodgins know and I will be leaving shortly thereafter - Violet said looking at Iris, who seemed relieved by her expression.

Violet was about to knock on the door to President Hodgins' office, but he and Miss Cattleya seemed to be having a rather suggestive conversation. So she decided not to interrupt them, honestly, she was not in the mood to witness that somewhat embarrassing view
He took the first train to Edam. The entire journey was filled with daydreams, "I am burning", was all she could think of. The fire, the burns, the heat that consumed her inside, would it never end? Was it her past that troubled her so much? Perhaps your memories. What was that buried memory that she found it so hard to remember? The train whistle brought her back to reality.
She walked the streets looking for the right address. The scents around her were almost intoxicating, and the soft heat of the sun on her skin seemed to try to wake her from an endless reverie. She got to the right house and rang the bell. It was a simple house, it belonged to someone of the middle class. A woman with brown hair and a wide smile answered the door;
<3
- Hi, I am the auto memories doll Vi - was interrupted by the woman
- Violet! I received a telegram from Iris saying that you would come. Come on, come on! The woman pulled Violet inside excitedly and guided her into a small drawing-room and poured her a cup of tea. Violet watched her in silence - Wow! Where are my manners? My name is Emilly very pleased
