Chapter 6

  The three vampires approached us, Chris and I stand together, Carlisle step in to talk to first.

"I believe this belongs to you." One of them said throwing the ball to Carlisle.

"Thank you" Carlisle said to him.

"I am Laurent" he said, "and this is Victoria and James."

"I'm Carlisle. This is my family."

"Hello." Laurent said.

I could feel their emotions, hunger. James kept staring at me and Edward. 'You can hear what I say?' He thought, 'Edward.' I said in mind. 'I know' he assure me.

"I'm afraid your hunting activities have caused something of a mess for us." Carlisle informs them.

"Our apologies. We didn't realize the territory had been claimed." Laurent said.

"Yes, well, we maintain a permanent residence nearby." Carlisle tell them. James has not lost sight with us.

"Really?" Laurent looks at James. I read his mind, he's a tracker. "Well, we won't be a problem anymore. We were just passing thought." Laurent said.

"The humans were tracking us us but we led them East. You should be safe." Victoria said, I smirk.

"Excellent."

"So, could you use three more players?" Laurent asked. We all waited for Carlisle answer. "Oh come on. Just one game." He said.

"Sure. Why not? A few of us were leaving. You could take their place. We'll bat first."Carlisle said. Didn't feel right for them to play with us since we have a human with us. He throws the ball, which Victoria catches.

"I'm the one with the wicked curveball." She grin. I smirk at her, "well, I think you can handle that." Jasper tells her. We all laughed, suddenly a gust of wind blows. James smells the air. "You brought a snack."

We all ran to them, esme pushing Bella back. Rose and I growl at Victoria, the guys at James.

"Human?" Laurent asked

"The girl is with us." Carlisle claims. "I think it best if you leave." Carlisle orders them. I growl at Victoria, Chris and Esme protect Bella.
"I can see the game is over. We'll go now. James." He calls for his coven mates.

We watch them leave, "well that was a fun game." I glare at Bella. "Caitlin." Chris snaps at me.

"Get bella our of her. Go" Carlisle tells Edward.
We all went back to the house, waiting for the rest to get back.

"We told Edward bringing her here was a mistake, letting her find out about us. We told him it is too dangerous." I tell the others.

"I'm with Caitlin. Look what happened." Rose said. "That's enough girls." Esme tells us.

Edward return with Bella, we went the garage.
Alice and Jasper were taking bella south. Edward throws me, Rose and Esme some of Bella's jackets.  Rosalie, esme, Caitlin. Could you put this on so the tracker will pick up Bella's scent." I lean against the counter next to rose. We both shared a look.

"Why? What is she to us?" Rose said, as I sided with her. We looked at Edward. 'Caitlin please' I read his mind.

"Girls, Bella is with Edward. She's part of this family now and We protect our family." Carlisle tells us, he hands us the jackets. We glare at Edward then grabbed the jackets. We went to Emmett's Jeep. Chris wrapped his arm around me, gives me a look. I roll my eyes.

Me, rose, Emmett, Chris and Edward. Ran though the wood leaving Bella's scent. "Caitlin mark that tree!" Edward orders me. I rub her scent, "that's good." He said, I ran with back. We continue to spread her scent around the trees.

We see James get anger, as he smelled her scent. Figuring out Bella's not her. "He's figured it out." Edward said. I gasped.

"What? Caitlin?" Edward asked, "I see mirrors, A big room with mirrors." I explain "where?" He asked me. "I don't know, I just see mirrors and James." I said. "Rose, Esme and you stay in forks protect Bella's father. The rest of us will go with Bella." Edward tells us.

'Great' I sarcastically thought.

"Caitlin. Don't start, I need you there. You can read reminds too, I need you there when I call." Edward tells me. "Fine." I calmly said. I kissed Chris, "be safe." I said to him. "I will.

We stand on the branches of the trees, we watch Charlie's house. Each of us stood on a different tree, on my edge I can see him. He sitting on the couch, sipping on beer. I can sense his emotions. Sad, hurt. He runs his hands on his face. Frustrated, he looks older. This is the first time I seen him in years. I remember when he walked out on us like if it was yesterday.

'Caitlin, are you okay?' Esme said

'Yeah. All good here' I said.

He kept watch for a few hours, esme gets a call from Carlisle to meet back at the house. James is killed, but he bite Bella. But Edward manage to suck the venom out, before she turns. Edward stayed back in Phoenix, with Bella. We waited for the rest to come back, after few days their back.

I sped to Chris giving him a hug. "Damn I missed you." I tell him. "Me too" we share a kiss. Carlisle told us they managed to kill James, but Bella got hurt pretty. Edward walked in he looks nervous.

"Edward what's wrong?" Esme tells him. We all look at him. He turn to me 'Bella knows your her half sister.' I read his mind. I growl at him.

"No!" I growl at him. I sped to him, pinned him on the wall with one hand in his throat. "That wasn't your secret to tell!" I yell at him. Emmett and Chris sped to my side calming me down. "Caitlin, let go of him. Let him explain. I know your mad but please babe. Don't do something you'll regret." Chris tells me.

"Listen to him Caitlin." Carlisle said. I looked at them, then Edward.

"Explain." I cross my arms. He nodded.

"I didn't tell her, She found out on her own. She found an old picture of you in Charlie's things." He tells. "I was going to tell you before this happened. I'm sorry Caitlin." He apologize.

"Sorry I pinned you." I apologize back, he nodded. "She wants to speak with you." He said, my eyes widened "what. Why?" I asked.

"She wants answers." He said. I looked at Carlisle and the others "only if your ready." Carlisle said, "okay. I'll talk to her." I said.
Later that night, I was getting to go to Bella's when Chris stopped me. "Oh no, I'm coming with you." He said. I scoff, "Fine. Let's go."

We sped to her house, I look to see her light is still on. Her window is open, "okay wait here." I looked at Chris. He raise his eyebrows. "I'm not gonna hurt her." I snap back. I jumped up her window quietly. She gasp. "Edward said you wanna to talk to me." I said standing near the window.

"So when did you find out about me?" I asked her. She fixes herself, "couple of days ago, Charlie was throwing some trash away and I saw your photo. I realize it was you." She said. I nodded. "Edward confirm that's you. Don't worry Charlie doesn't know who you are." She added. I nodded.

"I can't believe I have a sister." She chuckle.

"Charlie walked on me when I was 2, leaving my mother alone to raise me. Until I met my husband, and the Cullen's i have a family now. Brothers and sisters. Look, I'm gonna say this as nicely as I can. Charlie chose you, not me. You look like a nice girl Bella. But please understand that you're not girl I ever wanted to have to know." I said leaving her speechless. "You should get some rest." I said leaving her room.

Chris stood there crossing his arms. "I said it nicely." I said. "Edward is not going to be happy about this." He said. I rolled my eyes. We ran back to the house.
