Chapter 8: Dating and a party

Friday, afternoon last period of the day.

Jeongin's POV

Today's the day, I'm finally gonna ask Hyunjin out. Or, maybe I should confess it makes more sense.. I thought.

I was busy drawing, in my sketchbook that I didn't notice Hyunjin woke up from his nap and moved a bit. I frowned at him. "Hyunjin hyung, I was drawing something and you moved so now I can't see it anymore." I said, still frowning at him so then he gave me a smile and moved back. "There, are you happy now Innie?" He asked me, while closing his eyes again.

I smiled at him, during these last few weeks me and Hyunjin hyung have been getting along well. My heart, always feels like it's on fire when I'm around him. Although, in a good way I always knew I liked Hyunjin hyung before. But now, I think I actually have fallen in love with him. I continued, to go back to sketchbook drawing I'd never tell him I draw him and only him.

The final bell rang, telling us class officially over now. Me and Hyunjin hyung, were still packing our things so we were still in the classroom. So, I did what I felt like I should and said somethings. "Jinnie, I- I kinda l- like you.." I said, each word after his name fading away slowly. "I know you do, and Innie I like you too." He said, to me as in me after all this time. I finally, am someone to him, not just a friend but someone closer...

Hyunjin's POV

I already knew, Jeongin liked me since he's not so quiet. Not to mention, I've seen most his drawings during class and they are all of me. So, the day he confessed I accepted since of course. I mean, the only love I really know is from my friends. I thought, I knew what love was from my father but that all was a lie. But, I saw how Jeongin always looked at me and it made me feel something I never felt before. Not to mention, his possessiveness shows and I thought I'd give it a shot.

So, here I am waiting at a park for Jeongin to come. Small little, footsteps are what I heard coming from behind me. My eyes, were covered and I panicked before hearing a small voice that calmed me. "Guess who?" Jeongin said, with a lot of happiness in his voice. "Hmm, I don't know is it a fox?" I asked, while he uncovered my eyes and walked in front of me.

"Sadly, I am not a fox today but I am your date." He said, all flustered. Not gonna lie, I think all the guys are gonna be jealous when they find out we started dating. But, from what I've learned about them, they all have someone in mind for their hearts.

We walked, to a cafe and took a seat in the corner booth. After ordering, we started to talk a bit. But, that was before we heard the bell above the door ring. There, we saw Minho and Jisung walk in hand in hand smiling.

We just continued, our conversation and finished our drinks. When we finished, I brought him back over to the park under a tree near the river. There, I looked him in the eyes. "Innie, can I do something a little crazy?" I asked him, while he just smiled and nodded at me. With him agreeing, I leaned forward and kissed him. To my surprise, he kissed back too and we stayed there both enjoying the feeling. Before, pulling away to look at one another.

2 weeks later

Jeongin's POV

Today, is so boring it's just a weekend and all the guys are busy studying. Or so, that's what they told me. But, funny thing is I saw Jisung and Minho at a cafe "studying" but how do you study while holding hands just an hour ago. Just saying now, I have a feeling they both like one another and calling it now the ship name is Minsung. (( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°))

An hour later, and here I am still lying on my bed. I thought, college was supposed to be fun but I guess not. Then, I got a text message from the group chat.

Stray kids

Who's going to the party tonight?

Me who else is going should we do a group thing?

I'll go if Minho hyung goes

Let's go in pairs also Jisung yes Minho is coming

Jisung's POV

After I finished reading the texts, I ran straight to my closet and practically threw it upside down. If Minho, is coming to get me I need to look good. Lately, since me and Minho started hanging out I kinda started crushing on him.. But I mean, who wouldn't have you seen him?! I finally, chose an outfit after countless failures. Now all, I needed to do was wait for Minho to arrive.

Minho arrived, after 10 minutes of me waiting and we headed to the party in his car. Also, Minho's outfit was really really hot. So, the whole car ride I kinda didn't talk to him and just looked down at my shoes the whole time.

When we arrived, it was a huge house and a lot of people were here. Minho, led me to where all our friends were, first I saw Felix clinging to Chan. Which just meant, he was already drunk. "Channie hyung, why don't you ever notice me?" Felix said, while slurring on all his words. "How is my brother like this when you guys just got here half an hour ago?" Minho asked, Chan who was being hugged by Felix.

"Listen, I went away for like 3 minutes to use the bathroom and when I came back he was like this at the table." Chan said, while keeping his flustered face hidden. "Did anything else happen?" I asked, while smiling at Chan since he was blushing so much already. "Uhh, no why do ask?" He replied, after getting Felix to just stay still rather then cuddle more into his neck.

Hyunjin's POV

When Minho, and Jisung arrived I grabbed Jeongin's wrist. I led him, to one of the guest rooms in the house since I'd been here before. When, we got into the room I let go of his wrist and locked the door. "Innie, I have something to tell you and you have to listen carefully." I said to him, while he just sat on the bed and watched me confused.

I crouched down, so I was looking him in the eye. "Do you believe in ghost and other worldly things?" I asked him, while he just stared at me still confused. "I mean, maybe? But, why do you wanna know?" He asked me, while scooting closer towards me. "Well, I just wanted to tell you that. I'm not normal, and that if you accept it. I'll tell you the other thing I wanted to say." I told him, while looking into his eyes possibly for the last time.

"Jinnie, I don't get it. I mean, I do believe in all that stuff. But, what do you mean your not normal?" He asked me, while holding my hands. I'm not a normal person, because I can do this. I told him, in his mind while he looked at me in shock. "If you have any, questions you can ask me now. Unless, you want to go." I told him, while he was still processing what just happened.

"I-if you can do this, those that mean you knew I liked you before?" He asked me, while still staring at me with wide eyes. "I did, but that's not why I accepted your confession." I confessed to him. "What else, can you do?" He asked, while holding my hands more tightly. What else do you wanna know? I asked him.
