Lumipas ang ilang araw, ilang buwan, at ilang taon. Nang wala akong naging balita kay Prince. Naging busy din ako sa pagaaral ko.

And here I am standing on stage, wearing my black toga, and holding the diploma I have worked for so many years. Gagraduate ako bilang isang Valedictorian dito sa BHU- and I am so grateful to hold this tittle.

But I guess God really has His plans for me already; that even a strong storm can't ruin it.

"And now let's hear a speech from our Valedictorian, Christine Kaye Dela Cruz from Culinary Arts. Let's give her a round of applause." The dean's said on the mic. She handed the mic to me, I gladly took it from her and slight bowed my head.

"I'm not really ready for this kind of speech. But, I'll try my best to give you an inspirational words." I started. "I'm a transferred student here at the BHU, way back in first year college. It wasn't that easy for me, and for being a culinary student. I remember my first day here, a one mean guy bumped me. And that guy unfortunately was my crush, back then. He was my inspiration. He taught me a lot, he taught me to be a brave woman, and to stand on my own. And if not maybe because of him I would not have learned to love myself, first. I'm so thankful for him because he came to life." I smiled as i remembered our first interaction. "but seems like we're not really meant for each other; destiny just would not allow us to be together more longer as long as we want."

"Anyways, I'm also thankful for my parents, and for my Kuya, for supporting, guiding, and loving me. They didn't left me alone. Ma, Pa, Kuya- this is all for you, I love you." I glanced at my family. They all smiling while wiping their tears away. "So, for a student like me, that wants to be successful, someday. Just love yourself- trust yourself, that you can to that,

I hope that you will be what you want to be, someday. Just don't stop dreaming. You can do that, fighting." I closed my fist and up it on air. Like I gestured a 'fighting', they all clapped their hands.

"Congratulations, batch 20** - 20**. You're all now graduated. Good luck to your next journey." The dean's announced. We all stood up and throw our cap on air, after they announced that we can already threw it.

Alen is now Architect sa isang malaking construction company.

Si Sam naman ayon kasama yung 2 years boyfriend niya, nasa Japan nagbabakasyon. And she's now a registered nurse, sa isang malaking hospital dito sa bansa.
