- When I first heard the term "butterfly effect" my curiosity reached its peaked. As I search the web about the meaning of it, I find it cool but at the same time I cannot help but to be worried. The said effect states that the outcome has a strong dependence towards the initial action. Base on my understanding: it is a part of chaos theory with a concept of "a small variable will greatly affect the outcome of something". But why is it called butterfly effect? Based on what I read it was coined that way because of the question: Does the flap of a butterfly's wings in Brazil set off a tornado in Texas? But is it possible that such small things can cause a huge disaster? –
"Can you please let my arm go, I give up okay. I will help you now. Tell me, what's the plan?"
Ritmo said to stop Nath from dragging him which is effective. Nath let a deep sigh and started to face Ritmo.
"We will be heading to the canteen; you will distract my brother while I am hiding, to give Alex some time to escape from him."
Nath said, trying to explain her plan. Ritmo just nodded and they head near the canteen. Nath started hiding at a bush, near enough to see Ritmo as he enter the canteen. Ritmo prepared himself, equipped with his acting skills, but as soon as he enters, no one is there. The lunch break is now ended and students already finished their meals, making the canteen empty again. Ritmo headed back to meet Nath behind the bush which makes her confuse.
"They are not there."
Ritmo said.
"What?! Where did they go?!"
Nath couldn't control herself from shouting. She is not angry, she is just worried about Alex, she is afraid that he will use Alex as a hostage to lure her.
"I don't know! As far as I know, Jayce's basketball match was already done this morning."
Ritmo replied while trying to move away from Nath, assuming that she will shout at him again. Nath just looked at him with irritation as she grabs her phone to chat Alex.
---------------------------------------------
Nath: Alex where are you?
Alex: At last! You remembered me. I'm at the gym.
Nath: I'm sooooorry. What are you doing there?!
Alex: Your brother just received a text that he will be filling in at the volleyball team. He said that I should stay beside him.
-------------------------------------------------
"I knew it! My brother is now taking Alex as a hostage."
Nath said making Ritmo backed off again because she looks pissed. Again, Nath just give him a death glare.
"Try running away and I will tell my brother what you did to me."
Nath said, threatening Ritmo, because she assumes that Ritmo will run away as the distance between them widens.
"Hey, I am not that kind of person okay, I know my responsibilities."
Ritmo replied.
"Yeah right whatever."
Nath replied. Ritmo at this moment is confused, searching for a reason why Nath is acting this way. 'Normally, a girl like this will fall in love with me. Is she not a girl? Or is this her way of expressing herself?'- Ritmo asked inside his mind. Honestly, Ritmo is a player and is veteran in terms of reading girls mind, but unlike his past encounter, he just found Nath different. She is the first girl that he can't handle, and he just can't accept it.
Nath contact Alex again, to inform him about her plan.
---------------
Nath: Don't worry; the pervert will help me to distract my brother, for you to have time to escape.
