"Here, taste this," David insisted as he held his fork up for River to take a bite of tiramisu.
"Mmm...."
"Good isn't it?"
River just nodded. Well, he could have had his own, and enjoyed it fully, except David had made a presumptive statement that River probably liked to take good care of his figure. Sure, he did, but the odd dessert wasn't going to make him balloon. But David had been incredibly attentive the whole night, so River couldn't judge him too much; taking his jacket to hand off to the hostess, pulling his chair out, even, earlier, walking on the outside of the sidewalk.
"Will you come back to mine?"
"Sure." River had to be up early, but he was happy to fool around for a while before it got too late.
They'd been spending quite a lot of time together over the preceding couple weeks, and David was always attentive. He liked to come to the music room to watch River practice, and he was always so encouraging – enough that River felt as though he was being built up on a bit of a pedestal. David was always telling him how talented he was, how pretty, how great in bed, how clever. River didn't feel he deserved the accolades but David wouldn't allow him to hide his light.
David called for the check, clicking his fingers at their waitress and making River cringe. David did it all the time, but River usually felt too awkward to say anything. They came from different circles, after all. But it was too much.
"You don't need to do that, you know? A wave usually does it."
"For you, maybe, everyone knows pretty people have it easy. Anyway, my dad always says you have to make sure the little people know who's in charge."
River winced. He was fairly sure he'd be considered one of the 'little people' compared to David.
David paid the bill with a black Amex, cementing River's passing thought.
"You leaving a cash tip?" He asked, as David helped him into his jacket.
"Nah. I rounded up. Service was only average. They have to work for their money, like everyone else."
Everyone but David and Daddy's Amex, River's brain helpfully supplied, and he dropped a twenty on the table as soon as David's back was tuned, and the waitress smiled sweetly at him – an action that was becoming so depressingly regular he had the casual flip completely down, to make sure David didn't see.
When they got to David's, he set up a movie and pulled River down onto the couch in his room.
"I won't be able to watch the whole thing. I have an early class."
"No worries, it's background anyway." David barely finished his sentence before he pulled River into a kiss.
It was nice. He could feel David's hands sliding up his shirt, and liked how he was getting more passionate. He figured they could make out for a while, and then he'd get back to dorms, but David had other ideas, as he grabbed River's hand and pushed it onto his rapidly hardening cock.
"See what you do to me, baby. You're just so pretty you make me hard just being here."
River took over, easily able to read what David was looking for – the man wasn't exactly subtle when it came to his needs. He kissed David as he worked his hand, nipping at his jawline and nibbling on his ear lobe as David built quickly to his climax, praising River, until hot juices splashed across his hand.
"You're so good at that, Baby," David said, passing over some Kleenex so River could clean his hand. River was hard now, too, getting off on the pleasure he'd given, leaning in to kiss David again.
