You fumbled with your shoe laces in the dim light that was beginning to peak through the windows. Your eye lids struggled to stay open but found a comfortable position half open while you pulled on a light jacket.
"Ready, kid?" The man approaching from down the hall asked as he pulled his hair up into a bun.
"I still don't see why we have to start at six in the damn morning on a Saturday," you groaned.
"Grow up, I'm sure plenty of your classmates are already up too."
"That's them though, I'm not them."
"Exactly, if anything you shouldn't be complaining. You've probably been training longer than most of them."
You stepped out of the front door, enjoying the cool morning air against your legs as you stretched. "So were just doing two miles to the school and two miles back right?"
"No, we're going to go around the school too."
"What?!" You exclaimed, suddenly regretting waking up, "That's like eight miles?!"
"Yeah I know, I just figured if you thought it was only going to be four you'd actually get up."
"Why though?" You whined.
"You wanted to train with me didn't you? Come on you literally did the same run last month."
"Yeah but that wasn't at six in the morning."
"Cheer up, you'll probably see some of your friends in there way there or at the training grounds at the school, now let's get going," he said, taking off in a jog ahead of you.
You groaned and ran to catch up to him, falling in a matching pace beside him. "At least tell me we'll take it easy later?"
"No, today is going to be all or nothing."
"I'd rather it be nothing then," you grumbled.
"Tomorrow you're by yourself for the morning, I have to run in for a meeting, so you can take it easy then. I'll be back around three."
"I just wont run and I'll tell you I did," you snickered.
"Yeah well then you won't be warmed up for anything else, and I'll go extra hard on you if you don't."
"You suck."
"Whatever you say, kid."
As you turned the corner, your eyes caught onto someone running along the other side of the street. The morning light illuminated his green hair bouncing up and down, you felt a slowly smile climb it's way onto your face. Is this how kids feel when they see a friend in public?
"Midoriya!" You hollered out from across the street.
The boy's head quickly turned in your direction in confusion. A smile spread across his face as he recognized his classmate, "Hey Y/n!" He waved, "Hello Aizawa," he said slightly more embarrassed as he noticed his teacher alongside you.
Aizawa nodded while you continued to yell across the street, "Where ya running to?"
"The school, you?"
