You often pondered how your life ended up the way it was. Having a pro hero of absolutely no relation to you being your legal guardian and all...it wasn't the most common thing to see nowadays.
You, L/n Y/n, the daughter of TriFlour, one of the most dangerous villains in the country with a deadly gas quirk, was now nothing more than a normal teenager— at least that's what you tried to convince yourself.
Your shoes gripped to the wooden board beneath your feet as the wheels rolled over the tan pavement. The large school came into view, a smile spread across your face, thinking to yourself, "This was it." This was where you'd be able to prove your worth to the world. You'd be able to turn yourself around and become the hero of your dreams.
You slipped the small cellphone out of your pocket as it vibrated, checking the caller id, you held the phone to your ear.
"Y'ello."
"Where are you?" The gruffy voice on the other end said.
"I'm like right here, I'm just coming up to the front gates."
"Better hurry your ass up, were starting in five minutes."
"Shit, alright, seeya."
"Langua-"
You ended the call, hopping off your skateboard and swinging it under your arm before making a run for it into the building. You ran into the building and turned the corner, rushing through the doors propped open to the auditorium. You let out a tired sigh of relief as you dropped into the nearest empty seat.
"I feel ya, I just got here like two minutes ago," a voice sighed, sounding just about as worn out as you. You turned your head to the girl beside you, her pink skin and hair certainly stuck out like a sore thumb. "I'm Ashido Mina," she grinned sticking out her hand.
"Aizawa Y/n," you smiled back, accepting her hand.
"Lemme tell ya," Ashido sighed as she leaned her seat on it back two legs, "One minute I was right on time and the next thing I know I'm sprinting here with seven minutes left on the clock!"
"Yeah no kidding! I probably would still be skatin my merry little ass here if I hadn't gotten a call telling me I had five minutes left."
"Yoooo, you skate bro?"
"Yes ma'am," you grinned, proudly picking up your board from beside you.
"Aw, sick! I've always wanted to but one time when I was in my emo twelve year old phase I fell off one and I've been scarred since." Her words came out as dramatic cries as her hand rested atop of her forehead.
"Man, that's tough. Can't relate though, never had an emo phase," you chuckled.
"I refuse to believe that, someone who's able to maintain their sanity in a conversation with me for more than two minutes has went through some shit. Trust me, a home girl always knows." She extended a fist to you with a dramatic, pained expression.
Returning the fist bump with a giggle, you sighed, "Well, 'home girl' didn't have the time to go through an emo phase, I was too busy with my other shit like existential crisis's twenty four seven," you half joked, "but I would love to see some pictures of yours."
