The billionaire's decision

Chapter 16

"Do you have experience working in a restaurant?" I said Chase when I saw him struggling to balance the drinks on a tray.

"Well no, I actually have no work experience but I told John I did so it will be amazing if you could not mention that to him" I laughed and helped him hold the tray.

Since the V.I.P section was scarce today seeing that it is a Monday, we don't really get a lot of customers on Monday's,  I decided to use this as an opportunity to try to help Chase so he won't get fired on his first day.

He turned out to be a really great guy. He lived with his parents in New York and his dad owns businesses like Mr John but he didn't want any of his parents money he wanted to go out on his own and try to make it, so he came down here and stayed by one of his friends for a while and applied for many jobs but because he has no prior working experience it became hard to get hired. When he realised he needed to get a job quick cause he was running out of cash he came to his uncle and told him he want to work just until he get through with something else. 

Mr.  John being the loving man that he is, hired him one time and promised not to tell him parents cause apparently he told them he's working in a big company down here and checking out some investments if his own.

Chase is funny and a bit of a flirt sometimes but I mean he is extremely handsome so I can see why he would think that his cheesy attempts of a pickup line would work on any girl.

"So Laya what's your story?" He asked me out if nowhere.

"Hey only my friends call me Laya, and I don't have a story."

"So you mean to tell me that after many excruciating hours of yelling at me I am not your friend? I laughed at his idea of yelling and I shook my head.

"Fine, Mr. John was a close friend of my father and he gave me this job a few years ago." I quickly changed the topic and we  continued talking until it was closing time.
