An Unfortunate Start

One day Lily Conner was making breakfast for her gran. Lily had lost her mother and father as a baby. Her mother had died giving birth and her dad became depressed and shortly after went into his car after drinking and unfortunately died.

Lily cares for her gran as she is in a wheelchair and was diagnosed with cancer in her bones. Lily's gran is eighty- three and can't look after herself. There is also a carer for her gran who gets the shopping and helps while Lily is at school.

7:50 time to get the bus.

"Bye gran I'll be back at lunch" Lily said as she closed the door behind her.

Lily ran to the bus stop. Once again just in time. As Lily sat she watch outside how the scenery changed at each stop.

Finally after five stops Lily got to school. As she got of the bus she went straight to her register class. Lily sat in her resister seat and took out her maths and English homework that was due today but as she only got it last night and she was looking after her gran she had to do it now to stop her getting a detention. Lily doesn't mind doing her homework in regi (short for register class) as she has to do it a lot.

The bell rang and Lily's regi class filled. Lily's friend Lucy came over.

"You coming up the high street today?" Asked Lucy.

"No sorry, I need to get home and see my gran. Maybe some other time" Lily replied.

The bell rang once again and it was time for Lily's first class Physics. During Physics Lily just sort of tuned out into a world of her own. The bell rang to signify second period. Lily walked to her French class.

"Bonjour le class" The teacher said.

Once again Lily sat in her own world for that whole period too.

The bell rang for break time. For the fifteen minutes Lily just sat there listening to music.

The bell rang and Lily went to class she had maths then English . Her two classes were just a blur. In maths her teacher took her homework and said something about algebra and in English her teacher said stuff about imagery and took in everyone's homework.

The bell rang for lunch and Lily got packed up immediately and ran out of the class then out of the gates. Lily continued to run until she got home. She ran around the corner and her legs stopped, that's when she saw it. An ambulance taking someone away in a body bag coming out of her house.
