The Dolan's and Espinosa Story

Chapter 4

Shannon's POV:
"So did it take long to get here?" Matt asked. "No, not really." Anisa replied. "We would have been here sooner, but we ran into traffic." I added. "Yeah, but that wouldn't have happened if you had got ready in time" Lily exclaimed. I just looked down at my feet in embarrassment but then began laughing with Lily and Anisa laughing with me.

Anisa's POV:
We were almost at there room when Ethan said "You guys sound different, are you from-" "England!" Lily, Shannon and I said simultaneously, then began giggling. "I love that accent" Grayson said under his breath, but us three still heard him and just looked at each other while grinning. We got to a door and Ethan and Grayson began fighting with there key cards over who would open the door, pushing each other and scratching the door with cards, while Shannon, Lily, Matt and I just stood back and watched them. "So how old are you guys?" Matt asked. "14" went Shannon and Lily, then they just stared at me. "...13..." I said while looking at the floor. "Awww your the little baby" Matt said in a baby voice. I stayed looking at the floor as I began to blush. I sorta saw Matts feet move closer to mine, which made me blush even more. The door finally opened I don't know who by as the twins literally fell into the room from pushing each other. We walked in while Matt closed the door behind us.

Lily's POV:
The boys sat down and made themselves comfortable while the girls and I just stood there. They realised we were oblivious of what to do next, so they each went to a separate sofa and called us over. We had a nice big blanket for each pair. Anisa sat next to Matt, Shannon sat next to Grayson and I sat next to Ethan. "So what are we gonna do now?" Shannon asked. "We'll watch a movie. I suggest... INSIDIOUS!" Ethan said in a theatrical way. "No I might get scared" Grayson cried while putting the covers over his head. "Awww" came from the other side of the room and I knew who said it. I turned and saw Shannon and Grayson staring into each others eyes. They realised we were all staring at them so they came out of their trance and we all just laughed. Ethan went with Grayson to get some popcorn. I felt cold when he wasn't next to me. They came back with 3 bowls for each sofa. "What flavour is it?" I asked. "I wanted salt. My favourite" Ethan said, then licked his lips. "Oh...I like salted too!" I said to Ethan while staring at him. "So if you two are done looking into each others minds I think I'll start the movie" went Matt, so us two finally looked away from each other but that stare felt like, I was in a dream.

Shannon's POV:
We were half way through the movie now and from watching this movie once before I knew there was a scary part coming. I got ready by squeezing the covers in my hands, ready to pull them over my head. As soon as that creature with the red face came out👹👺, so did Lily and Anisa's deafening screams and I just threw the covers over my head. Then I heard a choir of awww's from the boys which made me feel a bit better, but I didn't want to move the covers from my head. My eyes were closed but I could feel the covers being moved away from me. I opened my eyes and turned to see Grayson staring at me with those amazing eyes as if to say "it'll be alright" then placing his arm around me and on my shoulder. Now I felt much better.
I was starting to get a bit bored of the movie as new what was coming next and as I was looking around I could see the others were too. I turned one way and I saw Anisa and Matt in a very deep conversation that I knew not to interrupt and looking the other way I saw Lily sleeping on Ethan's chest who must have taken his shirt of when we weren't looking and sleeping too with his arm around her. I smiled at them thinking it was so adorable, but then I had a feeling someone was looking at me. I turned and looked up and saw Grayson looking at me with his concerned face. "You alright?" He asked. "Yeah, I'm just seeing what everyone else is doing." I reassured him. "Why? Would you like to do something too?" He asked with a cheeky smile. "No, I'm fine with just being here" I said, smiling at him and him doing the same back. "So, when are you guys leaving?" He asked. "Sunday". It was Monday at the time so that left us with only a week left. I looked at Grayson who was no longer looking at me and his smile had faded. I lay back and said "Sorry" 'cause I knew how he felt. He leaned forward and said with caring eyes "You don't have to be sorry, I'm just sad that I won't be with you for much longer. Its not like you live in New Jersey" "I wish I did if it meant staying with you" I said under my breath. I didn't mean for any one to here me, specially not Grayson but I had a feeling he did as in the corner of my eye I saw his smile reappear and wrapped his arm around me then held his other hand as if to say "I'll never let you go". I smiled at him, lay back, put my hand on his chest then rested my head on his shoulder.

Anisa's POV:
It was so awkward between Matt and I. I wasn't saying anything, he wasn't saying anything, it was just silence. I could see Shannon and Lily having small convo's but over here it was just dead. I let out a sigh as it was now becoming boring. I wasn't expecting anyone to take any notice of me, but Matt must have as he turned and look at me. "You bored too?" He asked. "Yeah.." I couldn't lie I had nothing to do and this movie just wouldn't end. "You wanna talk?" "About what?" I answered. "You!" "Me?! Well there's not much to talk about I'm only 13" It's true Im not the most interesting person in the world. "You know that's not true. There's loads to talk about. Like... you said you was from England, what part?" "London" "What's it like up there? Is it true the weather is always on the downside?" He asked with smirk. "Its not horrible all the time. There is sun but it doesn't produce any heat" I answered, trying not to laugh, but we both went into a fit of laughter. "I mean, just because the weather is bad, doesn't mean life is bad. I have my family, these two. They mean the world to me and the amount of fun I have with them is great. So far, the best adventure we have had together is definitely this one." I looked up and saw that Matt was really interested in what I was saying. He had his full attention on me which felt great. He put his arm around me, which felt even better then he asked "So why did you decide to take an adventure to New Jersey then?" "Well I didn't decide. Us three go to a summer camp every year and we come to New Jersey as our leader has family here. As we are 13 and over we can go out without a leader as long as we tell them first. I sound like a little kid when I said that" I said with a little giggle. Matt moved closer to me and said "I think it sounds cute you have to do that." We were now just staring into each other's eyes now until I broke it up but saying "Sooo you've heard a lot about me, let's hear some facts about you and you definitely can't say you have nothing interesting to talk about" I started to be a little less shy now, I was beginning to feel comfortable when I was with Matthew. "Well, I saw Ethan and Grayson's vines and they reminded me of myself when I first started out on vine. They were in Virginia one time, so I called to meet them. We've been buddies ever since." he answered and I could tell he was really enjoying our conversation. I didn't want it to end so I carried on "Virginia? So why are you in New Jersey?". He suddenly just stopped and look into space then turned back to me and said "I actually don't know" which caused me to burst out laughing. "I know, I know but it's true. I was bored in Virginia, the rest of the Magcon boys were busy with their own business and just as I was about to give up and have a horrible summer I remember about the twins. Im staying with them till summer ends and they have to go back to school. It's great I remembered about them, because honestly this has been the best summer ever and if I never came here.... I would never have met you." He smiled at me with those gorgeous eyes, which almost killed me. It felt like we were staring into each others eyes forever and it didn't need to end.

Shannon's POV:
I opened my eyes as I could feel Grayson moving. I must have fallen asleep, but not for long as the movie still wasn't over. I turned around to see Grayson taking his shirt off and revealing that amazing six-pack. I couldn't help but stare, I tried taking my eyes of him by I couldn't. It was impossible to move. Grayson removed the shirt from his head and as he saw me staring he smiled to himself and then began looking concerned. "Sorry did I wake you? Go back to sleep" he said while lying back down and inviting me over. "No, no it's alright. I wasn't even meant to fall asle-" a yawn escaped my mouth so I was unable to finish, and to show that I actually was tired. "You may not have wanted to, but you should." "No, I'm fine and I don't want to leave you alone." I said while looking around and seeing everyone else was in dreamland. "I'll be fine." he reassured me while smiling. He then pulled me back so I was laying on his now bare chest and his arm over me and it felt goood.

Matt's POV:
I woke up in pitch black with no one awake and needed to go the toilet. Anisa was lying on me at the time. She looked so cute and innocent when she slept, I didn't want to disturb her, so I gently moved her onto the bed and got up. I tried tip-toeing away but the floor boards were stiff and croaky. I turned and saw Anisa looking at me covering her mouth like she was trying to keep her laughter in. "Shhh" which made her want to laugh even more. I was looking for my shirt, it was freezing. "Anisa, I need to wee really bad. Can you help me find my shirt" I whispered to her, which caused her to laugh in her hands but she agreed and got up and helped. I thought I saw my shirt, so I walked towards it when BANG! I hit my foot on the corner of the drawers. I was hopping up and down, turned around and Anisa couldn't keep it in anymore. She burst out into a fit of laughter, which caused me to laugh while in pain. I didn't want to stop her laughing, it was so adorable. I looked around the room and saw the others moving. Oops

Shannon's POV:
I hear some noise, causing me to wake up again. I go to get up and realise I can't, it's almost like I'm trapped. I look down to see what's keeping me down and notice Grayson has his arm around me. Luckily he was turned the other way as I started to smile to myself. I turned around and saw Grayson still with his hand over me, staring and smiling.

Grayson's POV:
I couldn't stop staring at her. I don't even think I slept that much, I just spent these hours staring and thinking about her. She turned and looked at me with a confused face "Have you been staring at me?" She said with a cheeky smile. "Yeah" Couldn't say 'no', I wanted her to know. I just lay there staring and smiling at her, then she look away, smiled and blushed. I refused to turn away, I just wanted to keep looking at her.

Lily's POV:
My eyes are closed but I can hear people talking around me. I turn to see what's going on and see Ethan staring at me. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" I screamed, I wasn't expecting to turn see Ethan Dolan to be staring at me, let alone sleeping next to me. My reaction caused him to drop of the sofa, so me and everyone else just started laughing. I stopped and got up to see if he was alright. "Oh my gosh, Ethan, I'm soo sorry. I didn't mean to scare you like that, you just shocked me" I told him with my heart beating 20 times a second. "Its okay don't worry. I'm fine and sorry if I shocked you, I was just fascinated by your beauty" he reassured me with a smile from heaven. I smiled back but just as I was about to say something "awww, get in there Lily". I turned and gave Shannon the death stare which made her and Grayson laugh. They make such a cute couple, always laughing with each other and chatting, so nice.
I reached my hand down to Ethan and smiled. He smiled back and took my hand. As I went to pull him up, I realised this was a trick and he pulled me down on top of him. I had no where to look but his eyes which sent me into another world. Ethan was starting to lean forward and I was shocked on what was about happen then some certain person had to ruin it. "Um... excuse me, there are other people in this room" Shannon whispered but not in a way so no one could hear, but everyone could. Her and Grayson then started making "oooooh" sounds to us, so I gave Shannon another one of my killer stares, so she stopped, but then we started laughing together. Then suddenly I realised that after all this I was still lying on top of shirtless Ethan. I quickly got up and apologised then we sat backdown on the sofa and had a bit of chit-chat.

Shannon's POV:
I loved playing around and annoying Lily and Anisa, in fact we all do it to each other so it's never going to be serious stuff. But when it comes to this, I'm the worst😊. I was laying down and I was starting to get a stitch so I needed to get up. I sat up on the bed and stretched. I made a mad noise which made everyone laugh including me. I went to walk away but when I was like a foot away from the bed, I felt something grab my waist and pull me back down. When I sat down, I realised it wasn't the softness of the bed but the softness of someone's lap and I knew exactly who it was. I turned around to see Grayson giving me that cheeky smile, so I smiled back and which made him wrap his hands around my waist and pull me closer to him.

Grayson's POV:
She went to walk away, but I didn't want her to leave so I grabbed her back down to sit on my lap. She was so nice and warm, so when she turned and smiled to me I pulled her closer, 'cause I didn't want to let her go. It was now an awkward silence all around the room, we just sat there staring at each other. "What time is it?" Shannon asked. I turned to look at my phone, still holding her and said "2:30" She jumped of my lap and screamed "2:30! I was meant to call Ms.N if we were gonna be here late, but I fell asleep. Do you think she's gonna kill us?" "Probably not if we call her now, come on. We'll be out side the door guys" Anisa stated then the girls ran out and left us boys alone.

Ethan's POV:
The girls just walked out, leaving us boys just to sit there. We all look at each other and I could tell we were all thinking the same thing...."wow". "So Grayson, the way you've been holding Shannon, don't you think you're rushing this?" I decided to ask Gray. "What, no and don't talk to me about rushing things. You're the one who started leaning in and you would have kissed Lily if Shannon hadn't interrupted" Grayson replied. "Well it was just a reaction, it wasn't meant to happen. From what I know about Lily so far, she wouldn't have even allowed me and she would have backed out before our lips met." I reassured him. Then I realised this whole time Matt wasn't even in the conversation so I added him into it "So Matt, you and Anisa, huh? How's it going, have you even done anything. You seeming like a boring guy and we know your not" I said, smirking 'cause I knew it would annoy him. "What? Just because we aren't rushing things like you and your baes are doing, doesn't mean I'm boring. We are just being like any other couple and just getting to know each other on our first date. I know so much about her and she knows about me. Yeah that's boring, but I was making hints in between each part of our conversations." Matt said with that type of smile to show he meant business. We looked at each other and laughed then exchanged fist bumps 'cause we all meant business. The door opened and in came the girls.

Matt's POV:
"Well your not dead yet, so it must be good news" I joked trying to liven up the mood. "Yeah, it's fine she said she had a feeling that we would be late so she planned in advance. She'll be here in less than half an hour." Anisa answered then coming back to sit back next me and I placed my arm around her. I wanted to show the boys I wasn't boring that actually I had a lot of things in my mind on how I wanted to spend my last few days with Anisa. And the thing is, I knew Ethan just said that to annoy me, but still I'll prove him wrong. Lily came and sat next to Ethan and Shannon just came straight back on Grayson's lap. "Should we all exchange numbers, so we can keep in touch" I suggested. "Sure" went Lily. We all got up and went in a circle and got our phones out. The girls told us their's and we told them our's. "So we have like 15 minutes left what do you wanna do" Shannon asked. "Well there's nothing good on TV right now so we could just chat" I suggested. This will last us a while.

Lily's POV:
"What are we gonna talk about without making stuff awkward that is" I asked. "We could do a quiz like in the boys video with Ryan." Shannon suggested. "Yeah. Should we do girls vs boys or pair vs pair vs pair." I asked. "Well, let's do girls vs boys, see how much we know about each other." Matt suggested. We all exchanged looks to approve. "First, lets write down questions about ourselves or someone on your team that you definitely know." Ethan explained. We wrote down our questions and answers then sat down in our teams. "So, looks like everything's re-" "Wait! We haven't got a forfeit!" Blurts out Shannon interrupting Grayson. "I was just about to say that babe" he replied. "Oops" Shannon whispered, then sat back in the chair in embarrassment. "So what are we doing for the forfeit. Nothing to do with eating please, I don't wanna be sick for the rest of the summer" Anisa says holding her stomach. Matt suddenly jumps up and points his finger in the air like in them old detective movies, making the girls and I laugh. "I've got it! What if the winning teams gets to ask the loosing team any question. That doesn't mean ask a question like we have been doing throughout the whole quiz but any question and you have to answer yes." Matt explained. I thought it was a little weird at first but maybe when we get to the end it would really matter.

Ethan's POV:
"Question 1: What school do I got to?" asked Matt. Straight away Anisa jumps up and answers "Its a trick question. You don't go to school any more. But if you had said which school did you used to go to then it would have been Bishop Ireton, a private school in Virginia." She smiles at Matt then sits back down. "Oh goud" says Shannon in the background causing the girls and Grayson to laugh. I just looked at Matt and said asked "You told her all that?" He didn't even turn to look at me, he was just smiling at Anisa, but replied "Nope....she's just a true fan." It was time for the girls to ask us a question, so Anisa got up and read it out. "which one of us has a middle name and what is it?" Huh? How was I suppose to know that. These girls are smart, I was about to give a guess when Grayson jumped up and said "Shannon does and it's Marie named after her mum" Shannon just looked at him in shock. "You remember all that. You have a great memory....unlike my goldfish brain" Shannon tells Grayson who replies with "Ohh don't say that. I bet your brains beautiful. And of course I would remember, it was something important about you." he smiled and I looked over to see Shannon trying to hide her blushing. ------------We went through questions after questions and both teams were getting it right. I offered to ask the last question for our team and if they got this wrong they would loose but if they got it right we would have to do the tie breaker question. I got up and walked to the middle. I confirmed with my team and none of us had spoken to the girls about this so we should be alright. "What are our full names, including middle names?" I asked. I expected no one to move but then one by one they got up and said our names. "Ethan Grant Dolan" went Lily, "Grayson Bailey Dolan" said Shannon then Anisa finished with "Matthew Lee Espinosa". I just slapped my head in my hand, as I'd forgotten these girls were one of our biggest fans. I looked at the rest of the team and we just thought "fools". So we've got 5 right and the girls have got 5 right, it was now time for the tie breaker.

Anisa's POV:
Ethan stood up and said "I'm gonna ask both teams a question, which hopefully you know. What disease is on my OLD bio on Instagram. I look straight at Lily thinking she'll know the answer, but then forgot she hasn't got Insta, so we turn to Shannon. "Um...I know it's from Wizards of Waverley Place....but...uhh....hipposomethingchickenstroodle? I can't pronounce it" Shannon says while literally chewing her nails, she knows if she gets this wrong we will both hurt her. I look at Ethan with hopeful eyes, but then he says "I'm sorry girls I can't except that. Matt and Grayson what's the answer. I could see Grayson grinning and was just about to say something, when Lily gave him her death stare. "I can't answer with Lily staring at me like that" Grayson cried and looked like he was about to wet himself. She continued trying to make him feel uncomfortable, but then a cushion hit her in the side of her head. I turned and saw Shannon looking all innocent and smiling at Grayson. "So, Ethan your old bio disease is....
hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia." Grayson pronounced. "Did I not say that?!" Shannon says from the corner, scratching her head and hiding her face in embarrassment. The boys jumped up in started doing the victory dance by DeStorm Power, while me and Lily just sat there throwing pillows and cushions at Shannon. Then we stopped and just sat there and waited for this question. The boys went in a huddle and I just stared at the girls, then as I was about to say something "DADA DALALALA CIRCUS! DADA DALALALA AFRO CIRCUS, AFRO CIRCUS AFRO, POLKADOT POLKADOT POLKADOT AFRO!" Shannon's mad ringtone filled up the room with sound and everyone just looked at her. Lily and I just burst out laughing while Shannon just slumped down into the chair and taking out her phone. "...Hello..... Okay.... We'll be down in 5..... Bye" then she put down the phone. "So miss is outside and I need to change my ringtone." Says Shannon trying to keep in the laughter. I was now crying I was laughing so much, but I could see the boys and they were just staring at Shannon with there mouths open. Then they just start clapping their hands and then shouting "That's honestly one of the best ringtones I've heard" making Shannon's embarrassment fade away and show a little smile. Then Matt came forward with the twins behind and said with a smile "This didn't take long for us to think about and we thinks it's a great situation to ask." I just looked at the girls, but when I turned back I saw Matt standing right in front of me. I turned and saw the twins were standing in front of Lily and Shannon, then at the same time they said "Would you like to come to the fair with us?" My eyes lit up. me and the girls exchanges smiles then jumped up she shouted "Yes!" I gave Matt a huge hug and whispered "Thank you" in his ear. All of us made or way to the lobby, then gave our final hugs and goodbyes and made our way out the hotel. I can't believe what has just happened, none of this is true it's to amazing to be. We got in Miss's car, then she turned around and said "I hope you guys were protected." "MISS! EW NO,STOP" then she just started laughing and made our way back to the rest of our group.
