Chapter 21

Alixe's POV:

Chris didn't come back last night. Where the fuck was he? As for his little rule about no connections to Victoria... Well, she's currently sleeping in Ryan's bed. With Ryan. He told her he would not let Chris hurt her. Let's see how long that lasts.

I haven't spoken to Victoria since the incident downstairs. To be quite honest, I was scared of Chris. He was dangerous when he had what he wanted in his sights, but someone stood in the way.

I was this someone.

I heard the door open, and as I walked down the stairs, I saw Chris. Panic rushed through me, as I knew both Ryan and Vicky would be in trouble if they were caught together.

I ran back to the other side of the house, and straight into Ryan's room. " what the fuck Alixe?" Ryan said, leaning up on his elbows. Vicky woke up as well and looked confused. " I'm doing the pair of you a fucking favour Ry" I spat. " she needs to get out of your room and into Chris'. Now" they both sat up and looked annoyed. " Alixe, you've ignored Vicky ever since last night. Can't you just-" I cut him off by whisper yelling " CHRIS IS DOWNSTAIRS AND YOURE BOTH GONNA GET INTO SHIT IF YOURE SEEN TOGETHER" fear flashed through both of them, and Ryan grabbed Vicky, pulling her up and presumably into Chris' room.

I dragged myself back to Ricky's room, seeing him still asleep. I cuddled into his side, causing him to wake up. " hey baby, where did you go?" He asked with his eyes closed, pulling me closer. " to Ryan's room to get him out of shit" he smiled kissing my head. I know, I heard" I giggled and tried to go to sleep, but shot up at the sound of screaming. " HELP! SOMEONE HELP ME! RYAN! ALIXE!" I went to get up, but Ricky held me back. " baby leave it. You know what happened last time" I nodded hesitantly, my eyes full of regret. " come on, let's go and get some food" I nodded and let Ricky take me out of his room.

I heard a louder scream, causing Ricky to grab my hand. We watched as Chris pulled a bloody Victoria out of his room and down the hall towards us. "ALIXE HELP ME. PLEASE" she screamed. Ricky made me walk towards the stairs faster as Vicky screamed for my help. I looked at her and felt a tear slip down my face. " leave her" Chris growled at me. I swallowed hard and pulled my hand out of Ricky's. " no Alixe" he said in a warning tone. I ran to Vicky and Chris and pulled Vicky into my arms. " Chris leave her alone. Please" I said looking into his eyes. Somehow, this set something off in him and he went back into his room.

I took Vicky to Ryan and told him to clean her up. Now that I think about it, giving a bleeding girl to a vampire probably wasn't my smartest idea....

I grabbed Sophie and Tyler and put them in their cage, taking them to Austin and Alan's apartment.

Once I got there and Alan opened the door, Sophie went crazy trying to get out. " awe hiya baby gurl!" He said, stroking her through the cage. " and hello to you too babe" he said, standing up pulling me into a hug. He lead me into the apartment and I let the kittens out. " who was at the door baby?" I heard from the kitchen. " Alixe. And she brought the kittens!!!!" He said, bouncing on the couch. I heard a chuckle from the doorway to the kitchen, and when I looked, there stood Austin drying his hands with a tea towel, with an award winning smile on his face. Alan giggled and snuggled into Austin as he came and sat on the couch, picking up Sophie from his boyfriend's lap. " hey gorgeous" Austin said kissing Sophie. " hello lovely" he said, leaning over Alan and kissing my cheek. "Hey guys. Just came to ask if you could watch Sophie and Tyler. It's just, things are getting a bit crazy at the Motionless house, and I don't want then to get hurt" they both gave me sad smiles, and nodded slowly. " of course Ali. If you need us, just let us know" I nodded and thanked them before excusing myself and leaving after saying goodbye. I needed I talk to Ricky about the next blood moon.

Alan's POV:

After Alixe left, I played with the two gorgeous kittens before I realised they needed food and beds! " AUSTIN!!" I screamed. I watched the kitchen door in amusement as my gorgeous boyfriend ran into the room with a scared expression on his face. " Baby! Are you hurt!?" I sat cross legged on the couch with an amused look across my face. " nice to know you care so much Carly. I love you" I said as he walked over to me. He pushed me down onto the sofa and supported himself with his elbows above my head. " I love you too baby" he said and went to kiss me, but as I close my eyes, I didn't feel his lips on mine, instead, I felt a cold, wet thing on my cheek instead. I opened my eyes to see Austin trying to hold in a laugh whilst pulling off a wet dish cloth from my face. " that's for scaring me and screaming like there was an emergency" he said, finally letting his laughter out. " no, baby, we need to go and get food for the kittens! That is an emergency!" He chuckled at my dorky-ness and kissed my cheek. " well, what are you waiting for!? Let's go shopping!" He said excitedly, before pulling me up and out the door.

He pulled me to his car and opened the door for me, bowing cutely. I got in, not before kissing him softly. On the way to the mall, we listened to slipknot and held hands. At every stop light, I would kiss Austin and tell him I loved him.

We finally arrived at the mall and before Austin could get out of the car, I kissed him and said " I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you so much baby" he smiled and kissed me again. " I love you so much too my ginger princess" I giggled and kissed him lightly again before getting out the car.

After walking around the mall for a while, after getting the cats some food, Austin told me he had to go and pick up a surprise for me, and told me to wait at the food court, so that's what I did. I sat down at a table and sat there thinking about Austin. The way he has creases by his eyes when he smiled, the way he covers his mouth when he laughs and snorts, the way-

I was ripped out of my thoughts as a Han was placed on my shoulder pulling me out if my seat. " hello Ashby. Remember us?" A male voice said. I looked at their faces to see 3 men I wished to never see again. They used to bully me in school. " where's your faggot boyfriend?" He spat in my face. " don't insult Austin" I growled and pulled myself out if his grip. He chuckled and stepped closer to me. " so the fag got a backbone, huh" I scoffed and turned round to be faced with one of the other guys. " where do you thing you're going, Ashby" he said with a smirk. All of a sudden, I felt I punch in my gut causing me to fall to my knees. Then I felt what I presumed to be a knee hit my face. I was then repeatedly punched and kicked in the middle if the mall. The worst part being people pretending it wasn't happening. I screamed out for help, which caused something sharp to be dragged down the side of my face. " GET AWAY FROM HIM!" I heard a threatening voice scream, shortly all 3 men were dragged away from my sight. I just laid there, afraid to move. I felt a hand underneath me and a hand behind my head, and my body being picked up from the ground. " Alan, Alan baby stay with me" I heard Austin's panicked voice. I opened my eyes and heard him sigh. " it's okay. You're okay" he said kissing my head, then I blacked out.

When I woke up, I was being carried into The apartment. I was laid on the couch, and watched as Austin ran into the kitchen. I sat myself up and watched as he came back with a wet rag and our emergency first aid kit. " this is gonna hurt ok baby?" He said pushing my hair out of my face. I nodded and let him put the cloth on my forehead. I hissed with pain and jerked back. " ow" I said quietly. " please," Austin said, pulling me to him. I nodded and sat still, even though it hurt like a bitch. He cleaned me up and kissed my cut. " it'll heal" he said and kissed my lips.

I snuggled up to Austin as we laid in bed watching a film. 100 days of summer to be exact. I kissed his chest, and instinctively he tightened his grip on me. " I love you Austie" I said softly, feeling myself fall asleep. " I love you too kitten" I heard before I fell into a sleep filled with dreams about my boyfriend.
